A view from the inside: observations from our own court observers

I didn't go in the morning. Afternoon was making me dizzy. ja was giving a lot of "I don't know" "I don't know what you mean" responses.
The jury was paying attention from what I could tell and some were taking notes.

Yes, that is how she comes across in court. I will say that it's not easy to see her expressions from the gallery. You get a much better view on the live feed. But sound is better in the court room. Nurmi sounds much louder than he does on the feed, especially when objecting. LOL

Remember, the jury is seeing her disrespect and lack of emotion. The 48 hours interviews are very damaging to her. IMHO

I thought the 48 hours clips and the text were the strongest parts of the day! My heart broke seeing Samantha's face full of hate and then it melting away to sadness. I've never watched the 48 hours interview and I was even more disgusted by her! I didn't even think that was possible. Her comments about not being able to imagine how his siblings feel because she loves her brother so much and can't imagine what it's like to get that call. Ugh. They've been through it because of her! There's no way the jury wasn't disgusted by her demeanor and statements in those clips. No way!

GREAT comments tonite KatieDDJ...and I loved your co juror Stacy (she looks familiar to me too) and both of you putting Dr. Drew's co host in her place. She spent the whole show trashing JM and you guys BOTH clarified it! Thank you!!!

I loved how you pointed out the time factor as well and how it's different in person. That actually makes everything less dramatic.

Also loved how Dr. Drew said "I don't think Katie will go there". hahahah! Love it!

Dr. Drew's guest host was talking **** about JM! She said "he is an epic fail". Beth Kara's was the only talking head who said anything good. I may need to take a break from the tv. :furious:

How in the world can anyone think JA is "beating" JM? She drives me insane!!!!!! :Banghead:

I can't wait til' next week when the current co-host will be gone. She is awful, just awful.
I watch his show for the guests.

I understand and I hope you get the time to refuel, or just breath. This is very real, and I know just watching it myself on tv I was spent yesterday, hahha I cannot imagine how it would drain me being there live, but I have a good idea.

I know we see the fun part too, but it has to be over whelming to sit there all day on so many levels.

I personally feel she will be found guilty, I can't see anyway around this as an outsider looking in.

I just hope when the jurors are questioned why? They each answer, I don't know, I can't recall, and I don't remember.

Thanks to all for their inside views of this case. How you all remain seated through all JA's babble when she keeps pretending she doesn't know what subject they are on, can't remember what she just said, plays her word games etc without throwing something at her is beyond me. I believe it was on IS or News Now this morning they asked those on the panel for a one word description of the back and forth between JM and JA. My word choice was "childish". JA reminds me of a 5 year old with her rediculous questions to JM only to waste the jury's time and delay what she knows is coming.
If I had one question for you all it would be "Is her quick smirk after her annoying word play as obvious to the jury as it is to one watching it on tv?"

PASA, as I was watching you and Frigga in court this afternoon, I saw her talking to a handsome man and assumed it was your husband until I saw that he gave up his seat for her! I've already thought it, from your postings before, but what a prize you have in him! Just wanted to share that I think he sounds like a real sweetie and you're lucky he shares this interest with you.

I read it and I somewhat get your point, but no one is starving or food deprived . Everyone gets breakfast and dinner, maybe a crap lunch. No one is starving.

I will say that I agree each trial inmate should be provided a lunch, it's on record so from now on I know that JA will have a good lunch, but crap it won't stop her lies, or head in the sand of what she did. Right? AT least she will have a full belly when she does lie.

I don't think dr. drew could recognize a sociopath if she came up and bit him on the nose. He frustrates me beyond belief. I only watch to see what the websleuthers have to say. At least they have an INFORMED opinion. That co-host... blech.

I don't always agree with Dr. Drew but he seems like such a good, kind man. I do worry about him though, that his compassion may cloud his judgment. I hope I'm wrong.
