They found empty compressed air canisters and prescription meds. Also a welfare check was done Friday at 2 am which was the last time he was seen alive.

If the prescription meds weren't involved, the compressed air could most certainly cause his death. Whether they were cans of something like computer duster or cartridges of whippits, which are nitrous oxide, both could have led to an accidental death

I just read that he had a long history of huffing. Yikes.
So his child will grow up without a father. So sad.

Yeah he had been caught a few times on live streams doing it. Sadly the multiple trips to rehab didn't help him

I think one reason why treatment often don't work is because it's focus is on the effect (substance abuse and addiction) not the cause (of the abuse and addiction).
It's hell for some people who just want to be happy again, but all their therapist does as soon as they know there's a drug/drink problem going on is talk about drugs/drinking, the urge to do it and how often etc, but never "How can we help you with the why?"
And I absolutely detest some comments online in cases like this, "It was his own choice, he's own fault, he's an adult!" etc.
I mean I'm glad they don't know what mental pain is but try have that discussion with their anxiety or trauma instead...
