It is VERY CREEPY!It was boarded up the day after a missing child report and demolished within hrs of being searched? That's about as coincidental as the rest of this case. Hmmmmm.........:waitasec:
Can they just demolish a house that is owned by someone without sending notices? weird!
I cannot believe they tore that house down and the reason was "When police were asked about it, they told NBC Action News that no consent from the homeowner is required because of the emergency situation involving a missing child."
I sure as heck hope this doesn't go unquestioned or a lot of people who own abandoned homes/businesses might find the same fate. And that's really unfair in this day and age when it's difficult to rent out and/or sell property in this economy!

If the well search concluded approx. 2:30pm + news of the house already having been demolished hit by 6pm, then I see no possible way that the interior and grounds (which would be disturbed by bulldozer) could be anywhere near thoroughly investigated. moo of course.Did LE do a thorough investigation of the inside of the house before it was demo'ed. What if it was a squatting house and Lisa was brought there?
I vote "necessary and related to illegal drugs". I wish LE would knock down many old abandoned homes (heroin houses) in one area of my city.maybe we should have a poll as to who thinks it creepy that "this house" (probably one of many) was put on a demolish list on 9/16/2011 and someone in authority had it boarded up the day after a neighborhood child goes missing. And then, the day the house is actually searched the city rushes over, within hours of that search, and instead of fencing off the property someone authorizes its immediate demolition?
Yes = Creepy
No = Coinkydink

Maybe the tracking and cadaver dogs had previously checked this house?Right, four hours spent on a known vacant/overgrown property? No way they had a chance to cover the entire house and the property befor the bulldozer got there.

I live in a historic district. Some of the houses are not "gentrified". The slum landlord who owns the dilapidated, 7 bedroom Victorian home behind mine has frequently denied receiving the city housing inspector's letters. Sadly, this behavior is very common to slum landlords. (He may have received letters and is denying it.)Well I don't claim to know and I'm sure the laws are different in Missouri than I am used to. But I can recall when I was working in City government a home that was unsafe. We had to send several letters certified mail, and then the Bldg. Commissioner had to get a court order to demolish the house before we could do it.
So I find this a real shock.
