The A's excepted it and they dined lavishly as Caylee lay rotting in the woods. And people wonder that others have no compassion for them.

It seems that all the A's have gotten nice fringe benefits from Caylee's murder. The only person that deserved all this finery is Caylee.

This whole part of the statement really made me sick. The entire family showed up for a dinner to discuss future deals on the same day little Caylee was found. It washed over me and I felt dirty just reading it. I'm pretty good at reading between the lines and I see that my suspicions of this family have been born out.

Cracking good read!! Take your effin flunkies and get out of here. JA tried to shake his hand and that was what he got. Oh, until he was needed to corroborate his suicide scare...

HAHA! A good punch can have the same effect. And I'm sure I meant a nice fruity Gatorade type punch...

Yes. If their house hadn't been classified as a "CRIME SCENE" by LE, they could have gone home!! I wonder how many people are put up at the Ritz while their house is being called into question as a possible murder scene of an innocent 2 year old child? :furious:

Haleigh's family is in a tent

I have no problems with someone picking up the tab for the A's to sleep in a nice bed and have a nice meal for a few days. ABC no doubt has some nice deal with the Ritz-Carlton Hotels, among others, for discount rates and if ABC can't pick up the check for a steak dinner for 6 people at the Ritz, then they are some cheap batards.

The whole deal couldn't be more than $1,000 bucks. So what? The A's couldn't go to their own house.

If they wanted people to sympathize with them on any level...they should have declined the offer and stayed with family instead. Most people would prefer staying with family or friends upon learning of a death supposedly so close to them.

Everything they do is so over the top and outside of the norm. IMO, they were still using Caylee even after learning she was in a field dumped like garbage.
I don't think the Anthonys give a rat's azz if people sympathize with them or not. I certainly wouldn't be thinking about that in their situation. Frankly, I think it is no one's business where they stayed or what they ate. I honestly think that many people have made assumptions about these people based upon their actions and words under the direst circumstances one can imagine. No everyone reacts or acts the same. That doesn't make for right or wrong, just different.

What happened to their house? (orlando sentinel is a bi**ch)

Last I heard is it is still taped off and is a crime scene....the father states he is staying in the tent so he can be there if and when his little daughter is returned.

With all due respect, what have discount rates and a "nice deal" to do with the fact that it is ABC that funded room and board?

I could give a carp if they ate the paper napkins and chased it with water from the vase and slept in their cars. What bothers me the most is the pow-wow with a producer, their lawyer, Casey's lawyer and the PI's.

Seems to me some people had to get their stories straight.

I'm sorry, but your post made me think of George and Cindy staying in a tent. Then I laughed. Right out loud, here at work.

I am not sure that ABC funded the room and board does have anything to do with anything. Television networks comp all kinds of people. The Anthony's got a place to sleep for one night.

LE was asking DC about it because they were concerned that Baez and his team would have money funneled to them from something being set up for the future. THAT is a more serious bag of worms.

Do you really think they were "trying to get their stories straight" with a member of the media right there. What's the bigger story for the media member, dinner with the Anthony's or revealing any conversation that night that may be have been untoward? If there was anything yucky we would have heard about it. IMO, we haven't heard a word because all that was heard was the pain of a family in the worst kind of grief.

Yep, ABC has kinda smelled throughout this whole case, don't ya think?
Would love to know the players behind all this and their link to GMA, Universal, Fusion, Full Sail, Lexus, Geraldo and even small potatoes JB, etc down their in ole' Orlando. Organized _ _ _ _ _? Lots of money changing hands ( and it ain't from the A's)

LE is only good for the Anthony's when it is on their terms.

Hey CW.

BC himself said that he was hired on Tuesday, December 9th, (i.e. 2 days before,) but did not get to speak with the A's until Thursday, December 11th.

He stated this during his first or second press statement.

Tuesday Dec 9
+ A's hire a new attorney

Wednesday Dec 10
+ A's are in Los Angeles and appear on LKL (CNN)

Thursday Dec 11 - AM
+ A's are notified during their return to Orlando, that a small child's remains have been located in the area they sent their PI to investigate 3 weeks earlier

Thursday Dec 11 - PM
+ A's meet with ABC producers, their PIs and their attorneys

Can anyone rememberwhich day of the LA trip, the A's followed up the Caylee sighting in another CA town ? TIA

Me either. I wouldn't need or want an attorney - my allies would be LE. And I would let any media outlet offering hotel and dinner know just how depraved I thought they were for daring to try to bring implicit or explicit media deals at such a time, and daring to insult me at such a time by implying that I was likewise depraved.

I would be at my home and, when I wasn't vomiting my guts up in emotional agony, I'd be assisting LE in executing their search warrant, assisting in finding everything and anything they needed to find out what happened to my grandbaby.

But that's just me.

I would be at home in my Grandbabies room breathing the air that she once breathed, hugging the pillow that she slept on and remembering every hug, every kiss and every "I love you" ever spoken.
