I would be at home in my Grandbabies room breathing the air that she once breathed, hugging the pillow that she slept on and remembering every hug, every kiss and every "I love you" ever spoken.

They weren't allowed in their house.

:eek::eek: NOOOOOO :eek::eek:

They met with ABC after Caylee's remains were found?
I just cannot read this anymore, my stomach hurts.

There with ya...
:banghead:

But, actually, nothing new..... cuz her remains were still not identified, so they remained in "faith" even tho the remains were 1/4 mile down the street from where they lived. They were still hoping maybe that it was the remains of a "little mall child" look-a-like, maybe....

Didn't they stay over at the Ritz Fri, Sat and left Sunday?.

I'm just out of the loop with Caylee's case sometimes. The mass amount of info out there leaves me not knowing some things, like this meeting AFTER the fact of Caylee's remains...

Gosh, they are a research psychologists dream aren't they?!

Do you really think they were "trying to get their stories straight" with a member of the media right there.

SNIP

Snipped by me

Stories about the murder - ofcourse not, they weren't involved

Stories about the coverup - not in front of the media

Stories about not receiving compensation for interview, pictures, etc - likely

You can look at George and Cindy and see that they are hurting. Cindy is skinny and zoned out. George's grief hurts to watch. They are torn because they DO love Caylee and also love Casey.

Think of it this way...You have two children and you love both of them more than anything in the world. They are playing at a friend's house and find a gun under the friend's bed. One of your children, your son, shoots his little sister. It had to be an accident. But, you son won't talk about what happened. He huddles up in a ball and cries when people ask what happened and won't say a word.

Do you stop loving your son because he shot your daughter? Do you love your daughter less IF you still love your son?

George and Cindy raised Caylee as another daughter. They loved both their girls. They can grieve for one and still continue to love the other.

There is a lot that bothers me here, starting even before they got on that return flight back to Orlando. They were on LK trying to sell the Caylee is alive and out there message, even GA looked right in the camera and denounced everything he had said officially to LE about the smell in the car. Then they get the news that the remains of a young female had been found right down the street from their home. Well, just the fact that they had an ABC producer with them is distubing given the fact that BC has stated, how many times, how utterly digusted he is with ANYONE that makes money off of the death of Caylee. Staying at the Ritz, dining on ABC's money, IMO, is just more of the same from a family that never fails to shock others in their inappropriateness.

One of your children, your son, accidently shoots his little sister. He lies and won't tell anyone the truth. To YOU, he looks scared and vulnerable. To the rest of the community, your son is a monstrous murderer.

Do you stop loving your son because he shot your daughter? Or do you want to make his pain and guilt go away because you know it was an accident?
Sorry Jolynna, not a comparable situation, 1) Caylee wasn't their daughter, 2) it's clear in this case it wasn't an accident.

The A's accepted it? What were they supposed to do when they got off the plane after learning that Caylee's body had been found, they couldn't go home, and someone had booked them into the Ritz? Argue? "No, our beloved granddaughter's remains have just been found, please let us go to a Motel 6."

Do you know that the A's dined lavishly or that they even ate what they ordered? The dinner was described as being very somber, that doesn't sound to me like they were enjoying themselves and whopping it up.
I guess it was meeting with the ABC producer that made it ...how should I say...inappropriate?

I do agree with you, Chilly, about the dinner. I cannot imagine anyone other than non family members were really able to eat. I would guess (and that is all we can do) that GA and CA and LA ate very little and probably had to be coaxed to eat at all.

I know that when going through a very stressful time in my life, my friends would take me out and I would sit and look at the food. My friends would try and coax me to eat to keep up my strength and sipping on soup or nibbling on salad was all I could do. I imagine it was the same for the A's.
Gosh, I wish I had video of this dinner.

I have no doubt that ABC hoped to get something out of it, but that didn't seem to work out too well for them. I wonder why ABC has never reported what happened or was said during that meal.
Do we know that they won't be getting anything out of it? The story ain't over yet.

We're back where was started. We don't know that the A's ate at all. You were able to eat after your mother passed. That doesn't make you a bad or uncaring person. People deal with grief in different ways. Some eat. Some puke.
Some negotiate...

From the outside looking in, it seems the relationship between Casey and Caylee was more of a big sister/little sister relationship than one between a mother and daughter. At Caylee's memorial, Cindy said she had 3 children.

I've always thought that it clearly isn't an accident. But, I could understand Cindy and George clinging to some remnants of hope.

I don't think they think she is innocent. I totally understand them not wanting Casey to get the DP. I wouldn't want that for any of my children either...no matter what they did.

IMO

I wonder who is paying the mortgage, car payment, gas ,food all thier bills?
Good question. I wonder how much of a salary you can draw from being a KFN representative.

Wow..Thank you for saying it again!!! The biggest problem with Cindy is she is completely torn. The second biggest problem is she has really bad manners and puts people off. She has made some huge mistakes in the public eye but now she can do nothing right and I think it is largely because she has been unappreciative and rude. I don't think that ANY parent would stand up and say that they believe their child is guilty and shouldn't be expected to. What would be great is if the A's just say they love both Casey and Caylee and pray for them both....end of story. Too bad they didn't start that way.

At least they didn't stay in the room and order over-priced room service.

I don't think anyone knows what they would really do if they found their selves in the A's shoes. And steak... we are not talking caviar and bottles of vintage wine with a 3 to 4 figure price tag... just steak.

Places like the Ritz have restaurants connected to them that are not of the fast food variety... the A's would have had to leave the establishment to eat at, say McDonalds/Popeyes/BurgerKing. And if hey had done so, people would have have been all up in their business and screaming about how "omg, their granddaughter was just found dead and they are out eating Big Macs!". This family is in a no-win situation...
Yup, more the reason to stay out of the public's eye. The As obviously didn't care at this point. So what that they were out to dinner in a fine dining establishment with their entourage? (said tongue firmly planted in cheek!)

I am not sure that ABC funded the room and board does have anything to do with anything. Television networks comp all kinds of people. The Anthony's got a place to sleep for one night.

LE was asking DC about it because they were concerned that Baez and his team would have money funneled to them from something being set up for the future. THAT is a more serious bag of worms.
Ya know, I always thought it was one night too...come to find out, it was three.

If my Granddaughter had been found murdered, I may have accepted the room, but I sure as heck would not have gone out to dinner. I'd have been quietly grieving in my room. I don't think I'd be able to eat anything.

I'm not sure I completely understand the moral/ethical issue here.

On the one hand, you have a family that's been completely destroyed over the apparent murder of their child/grandchild. But despite that, the bills and other obligations don't away.

On the other hand, you have a "public" who watches the new... ne...nu.. tabloid TV-pseudo "news" and demands of these tabloids to provide interviews, videos, pictures, comments and web-cam shots of this family.

But once we hear that the owners/sponsors of the tabloid psuedo-news programs are compensating the family for their time... we blame the family?

From where do you think these tabloids and networks get their money to pay families like the A's for their time in the spotlight?
IMO, nobody, and I mean nobody, should be getting paid a penny off the death of a child.

You said it way better than I could have.

They are dammed if they do, and dammed if they don't..

:bang:

And as far as Mr Cummings goes, I don't believe that any of them would be staying in a tent if they had the funds to stay in a hotel.
IIRC many offered for him to stay with them...and he declined.
