If Casey put the tape on only to cover up an accident and simulate a kidnapping, she would have also immediately called attention to the fact that her child had been stolen from her. Wouldn't she?

i realize i am jumpin' in kinda late here, but...

i am a registered nurse, "no known medical history" is a VERY COMMON and ACCEPTED terminology used by medical providers. it has always meant that the patient/person has not been DIAGNOSED with any medical problems such as diabetes, hypertension, carcinoma, cardiac disease, congenital malformations, metabolic disorders, etc.

(self limiting conditions such as sore throat, common cold, and ear infections are generally not considered a "medical problem" unless chronic and/or affects the patient in a long term manner.)

"no known medical history" does NOT mean the patient has never been seen by a medical provider or imply that the patient has NOT had routine physical examinations.

i have been an RN for 12 years and have worked in hospitals and in private practice. i have seen this term "no known medical history" hundreds if not thousands of times.

again, i apologize for jumpin' in. :)

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I am happy you cleared that up because for people like me (no medical backround) , I took "no medical history" to mean no medical check-ups at all.

Jump in anytime!

Well, this is partly where the accident theory falls down.

What was the plan?

Surely she would have realised that Cindy/George would come looking for her eventually, she couldn't just hide out at Tony's place indefinitely.

She might have felt secure in the knowledge that she had set up the fake kidnapping, had her little story of desperately searching ready, so would just wait it out until and when it was needed.

Casey I think is probably deluded enough to think that her family and anyone else would buy the kidnapping story. I can easily see her thinking to herself (based on what we have seen of her letters, video, audio interviews) yep, this is good, this is what I'm going to stick with.

I agree that the officers were just bluffing about the security cameras. If there really were security cameras for that date and place, we would have seen a report a long time ago re: LE's review of the tapes.

But I don't believe the defense is going to go with the "dropped her off on the steps at Sawgrass" story. KC told the JB Park story on bond, and told the "Zanny watching Caylee at the Anthony home" story to Robyn A. My guess is that KC and the defense think that one of those stories is better than the Sawgrass story.

Fictional jail conversation between JB and KC:

JB: Too bad Zanny wasn't watching Caylee at your house. <WINK WINK> That would help us explain how she had possession of the duct tape, laundry bag, trash bags, WTP blanket, etc.

KC: Actually, she absolutely was watching Caylee at the house. I was scared to say anything about that before, because Cindy doesn't like Hispanics in the house.

MOO :)

I have not seen any indication from the Defense that Kc is going to change her story to the Jbp story. So, for now, I am just going to believe that they are going to stick to the Sawgrass story. Unless they indicate otherwise.

I am curious about Kc telling Ra that Zanny was watching Caylee at Ca's house. That is pretty damaging. I wont ask. I will just go look through the records and see If I can find that letter that Kc Wrote saying that. MOO

Do you mean to actually click on their triangle?

Except that she not only forgot to notify anyone that her child had been taken/kidnapped from her but she also forgot to set up any actions that looked like she was "desperately searching." She was too busy with Tony, tattoos, shopping and dancing to take care of that little detail. I have seen zero indication that she looked anywhere for Caylee.

I don't think it matters what "Zanny" story Casey (defense) is going to go with... What matters is that the jury hears ALL of them.

The truth doesn't change. The only truth in this entire case has come from the evidence... which points to INTENTIONAL!! Not accidental.

I agree with you that not only will they use that made-up story, but that Baez thinks it's a "better" story!

Logic says that Casey has changed her story to this phantom nanny that only exists in her head, to watching Caylee at Cindy's house for the simple fact that this story will lend itself to the implication that phantom nanny also had access to computers, Caylee's blankets, laundry bags from the home, garbage bags from the home, and Henkel duct tape from the home.

If it weren't so horribly sad that Caylee lost her life thanks to Casey, the above paragraph would be absolutely laughable because it's so preposterous that any juror would believe this scenario!

Oh absolutely she did nothing to even PRETEND to look for Caylee, she probably just didn't think she needed to. She had never really been called on her lies in the past and just expected this continue. I believe the depths of her delusions know no bounds.

I don't think she forgot to notify anyone of the kidnapping or forgot to make sure she made it look like she was really searching for Caylee. She just didn't think is was necessary.

RSBM, and GMTA to AZ and D4V both.

IMO in re the nanny story, the defense is beginning to exhibit some of the same pathological issues that KC does, to wit: build a lie around a small kernel of truth, and as the story grows shape it to fit existing circumstances. The same way KC worked for a group contracted by Universal at some point long ago and then ended up marching two detectives down a hallway at Universal to explain... wait... what was it she was trying to prove there again?

You know your spaghetti will be al dente when you throw it against the wall and it clings for only a moment and then slides (or bounces) off. You know your defense is undercooked when they play three versions of an alibi in public for months and then start prepping to support the one that has the most "stick to the wallness" too.

Of COURSE they would settle on the story that Zani was babysitting in the Anthony casa. Of COURSE that would mean she had access to the duct tape and the laundry bag and the George--OOPS! Too soon? Well Ms. KC certainly has blended elements of truth into her lies before....

JMO of course.

I find that I am constantly reviewing the docs, refreshing my memory, and in doing so I can understand what is being discussed. There is a ton of information on this case and I don't always know an answer so I return to the docs. I think it's important to know what I'm saying is the truth. And this is just a discussion. How could Casey even lie about one thing when talking to LE about Caylee missing??? I don't understand how she lied. I think that is a good thing.(that I don't understand)
