Addicted to the Jodi Arias Trial?

We all have dirty houses!... Can you imagine how upset this would
make Travis, he was very neat & organized. I'm
dedicating the closing arguments to put my headphones on and
clean my face off for 2 days. So, when the verdict is read, I can have
a party and just mess it up again!...

JM: So, ma'am...what you are saying is that you haven't
cleaned your house in months, Riiight?
Me: correct
JM: so, what your saying is the trial is preventing you from
doing daily house cleaning?
Me: yes
JM: would it be fair to say that you have neglected daily chores
as well?
Me: that would be accurate.
JM: should that blonde thing sitting over there with the glasses
get the needle?
Me: yes
JM: no further questions

The Jodi Arias trial is approaching its conclusion. For those who have been hopelessly addicted to the case and have followed it since January, how do you plan to deal with withdrawal? Will you attempt to resume a somewhat normal life? Will you quit the case cold turkey? Will you continue to follow the aftermath of the case? Will you start following another high-profile trial?

I'm fairly confident that we'll have a verdict today as we approach the holiday weekend that marks the beginning of the summer season for many of us who endured a long, cold winter. I have no plans to follow any of the major trials that are looming but will probably keep tabs on a local murder trial that is set to begin on May 29 with a pre-trial hearing and the trial starting the following week.

Beyond that, I need to do some serious spring cleaning, start getting some exercise, not sit in front of the computer for hours, read several books that I bought during the winter. DH and I will make a trip to the nursery this weekend for annuals and get them planted. We also plan to go to a carpet/floor store as we are considering replacing carpet in the den.

Please share your thoughts on life after the Jodi Arias trial.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Travis Alexander. :please: Let there be JUSTICE FOR TRAVIS! :please:

I think you have channeled into my brain. I agree with your post and am glad I am not the only one experiencing the same. I have been beating myself up for being such a slob and recluse the last 4 1/2 months. I hope and pray I do not get some caught up in another trial, but who knows. But, I have enjoyed being with all you guys on WS appreciating all the opinions, and insights. It is nice to share the days with other people who for the most part all agree.

As the days roll on and new trials come up I hope we can continue to have justice for all the victims out there. jmo

Hi. Beginning today, I have exercise classes scheduled for every day of the week except Friday, and that is only because I can't yet find a class for that day. I want this trial over. I was grateful to feel 'fed up' by Jodi two days ago when she gave those 3 press conferences - I am sick of her and sick of this trial. I am not understanding why the jail lets her spend all that time talking to the press.... All I can figure is that it's political and brings lots of tourist money into the area. :seeya:
