Adult Entertainment Industry: Case related

I've seen MANY of them, LI. Still don't recall that info being put out there. If you can post a link, it would certainly be appreciated.

I forget where. Its definitely true. You can take my word, or go look. Im not lying to you though nor am I going to go search for it right now.

BUT what I WILL do is this. I plan on watching all of those shows again within the next month or two. When I run accross it, how about I notify you? I just dont have time to make a special run through those epeisodes for this one fact. I plan on making an outline wiht facts and high lights from the TV show. After I summarize all of the shows, I had planned on posting my outline here. We all know how it goes...we watch these things, think we remember everything and end up forgetting it all.

Because she was going to change into lingerie or some other type of clothing that would be provided for her. JMO

Or so as to not attract attention.

I'm not even sure what "fact" we are discussing, anymore. So just to clarify...it's a known fact that Amber left the house wearing jeans and a pink hoodie. But are you saying you read somewhere that she took a bag or a change of clothes along with her? My reading comprehension sort of sucks today (too much scanning missing cases, I guess), so I just want to make sure we're not crossing our wires.

I know it was reported that SHANNAN had a change of clothes in MP vehicle.... Maybe that is what was meant by LINat?

Your asking about DS being a junk head I thought. You bolder it

GOOD POINT! I would often tell my clients that I would show up dressed casually (and change into something sexy when I got there) in order NOT to attract attention...from neighbors, hotel security etc..

I did ask that, LI. But I asked 2 questions back to back, and since you didn't quote the question you were replying to, it threw me off. Sorry for the confusion.

True, but we were talking about Amber, and questioning whether or not she would have gone to meet a high end client dressed as she was, in a hoodie and jeans. 2Curious suggested that perhaps a change of clothes might have been provided FOR her by the client...which, I suppose is possible. My question was: has it ever been reported that Amber took a bag or a change of clothes with her when she left the house. LIN, answering a different question (about DS), but failing to quote me, said that that was widely reported in msm. Hence my confusion.

Hope that clears things up.

To answer the Amber Costello question (highlighted in red)

IMO...NO!...I belive I have read almost every newsreport/interview and seen pretty much all videos about this case, and I do have a pretty good memory, and I can not recall that it was ever mentioned that Amber brought anything with her, not a bag, nor change of clothes or anything else for that matter.
I could be wrong though, but I doubt it ;)

That is my recollection as well, Foreigner. And my memory is also pretty good.

Assuming for a moment that what DS says is true, Amber was offered $1500 to go with this client. That's a big chunk of change...much more than her usual going rate...so what exactly was being offered here? If it was to be an over-nighter, wouldn't Amber have at least brought her pocketbook, or a bag to hold toiletries, or a damned hairbrush? And no cell phone on her...for an overnight "date"? Uh uh.

So what did Amber THINK this job involved?

1. Private party? Don't think so. One wouldn't expect to show up there dressed so casually, and the likelihood of there being clothes already there that would fit her seems pretty slim. And she surely would want to clean herself up afterwards, brush her hair and teeth, etc. But she didn't have those things with her.

2. Photo shoot? Film work? Modeling? Perhaps. Everything would pretty much be provided there...clothes, make-up, hair, etc. And if it were a photoshoot or modeling, toiletries after the "work" wouldn't be neccesary.

3. Car date? No way. Her hinky meter would have been through the roof with an offer of $1500 for a car date.

Of those 3 ideas (and there may be more, but I'm too pressed for time to expend myself at the moment), #2 seems the most likely to me. Especially when I recall that Maureen got her start "modeling", and listed herself as such on Sexyjobs.

This makes so much sense! Amazing that there is still so much that can be deduced from the earliest reports. Excellent thinking.

WARNING: MAY BE OFFENSIVE TO SOME VIEWERS

Here's an example of what I'm talking about (look at the fetish photos):

Note: this is ONLY an example used for illustration purposes. No implied connection between this photographer and this case what-so-ever.

I've just racked my brain trying to figure out why she left in a hoodie and jeans - and no phone - that we know of.
I've learned thru other posts about the BDSM community on LI, and I did a tiny bit of research...
If she was going to a "private" party in a "private residence"...they ask that you not show up at the front door in your costumes (read: fetish gear). The people that throw these parties understandingly don't want their "guests" to attract the attention of their neighbors. Again. MOO

This guy researched his victims. He spoke with amber several times.he did his research.

Yes, unless they are provided. I don't know how often this happens.

It happens. There are clients with "fetishes" who have trunk loads of womans clothes that they want you to wear. Some new (okay, no problem) some used (gross, no way!)

$1500 would imply an extended date (overnight for someone off craigslist) or (more likely) for allowing video or photography.

I don't think there is much else that would qualify for that sort of fee from a girl like her.

For an addict the offer of $1500 & party all night with the client who was ready to pick her up right down the street (after talking her up on the phone for some time that day), well... a toothbrush and hairbrush are not priorities. JMO

For a girl like her..no offence..$1500.00 would probably make her drop EVERYTHING including her/whatshisname's cellphone...J/S.

RIP Amber..we all make mistakes... DAMN! I'm Soo sorry for you baby girl!
