Can a death row inmate be transferred from Arizona to California (like Alcatraz) to serve out the appeals and sentence so Arizona would be able to rid themselves of the money she is causing them to burn through?

He**,I hope NOT! I'm a California taxpayer and I don't want one penny of my $ spent on FJA's appeals!

a

Sorry for the OT, but I couldn't let this go --

I have been scuba diving off the San Diego/Baha coast -- the sea lions love divers and play with you under the water -- amazing -- they come up to you really fast then turn at the last second -- just absolutely wonderful experience -- being used to tropical diving, the cold water and full wetsuit were not my favorite part of the trip, but definitely worthwhile to enjoy one of the best diving experiences I have ever had -- San Diego/LaJolla area is absolutely beautiful -- spectacular weather!!!! Lucky you!

Somebody say diving? I'm there. Warm, cold, whatever!

I just watched JA's post verdict interview all the way through. Knowing all the evidence that was heard against her and knowing that 12 jurors just convicted her of premedated M1, she is just eerie during that interview. She is so poised, unaffected, and remorseless. She continues to blame everyone else, slander everyone else, and arrogantly proclaime just how wonderful and righteous she is. She behaviour is not what most people would consider human and is truly frightening.

I am usually a 'soft touch' where sympathy is concerned. But not this time. No sympathy from here.I hope they lock her away somewhere she can do no more harm. She will never change.

Ya know it's so obvious the level of pathology (evil) here. What is almost more disturbing to me, are those people with BRAINS who have chosen to support this kind of unconscienable evil. For whatever reason.

Schuby I'm watching this right now....so interesting! I like the horse guy. I think McNautin should be placed with Jodi and let's see how long Jodi lasts! She won't be Queen Bee then!

Ha! You know, for a few minutes I wondered if Jodi would be a McNautin type. But, no, I agree with you 100%. McNaughten would own her.

It sure did. The former Victims Advocate De Larosa did tone down her look somewhat over time but at the beginning dressed every day like she was going out clubbing. 5 - 6 in stillettos, low cut cleavage, long dangly earrings, etc. Then even how she would approach JA, lean in, whisper in her ear, make seductive looking eye contact, it was VERY uncomfortable to watch.

To me they looked like a couple of college girls trying to turn on some guy with less than subtle suggestions of a 3-way. I'm serious..that's exactly what it looked like to me. Creepy.

And Gus makes three.

I totally agree. She is in a class of her own. But, all of those personality disorders kinda overlap. So I'm not sure if "borderline" means that she has many characteristics of many personality disorders. I think you're right though. She is definitely a mixed bag of tricks. Totally off-the-wall-whacko!

She thrives on attention and the belief that people (all of us) are interested in what she thinks or feels. I suddenly feel absolutely NO interest in her at all anymore. I have been able to let it go and any control she had over me for the last several months. I feel REALLY good about that.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all of us .... :seeya: I have two sons (37 & 35), five grandchildren (from 12 down to 2) and I feel so blessed. :heartbeat: :winkkiss:
I have five children and four granddaughters You are right, we are so blessed. One of JA's biggest punishments will be knowing that she will never have a family of her own. I really think she wanted to have children badly and now that will never happen for her.

OMG - I hadn't watched the entire series, but that was really nauseating. She threw everyone under the bus, except herself (she's the driver obviously). Too bad I don't have speakers and have to wear headphones, because I cringed every time I heard the convicted murderer swallow. What a horrible, creepy, sound.

Everything she said was a lie - and I hope the jury sees it. Especially the parts where she throws JM under the bus and runs over him.

MOO

Mel
Loved her saying she doesn't really know what's going on 'cause she doesn't have access to a tv or internet...but she gets newspapers. lol

I think she thrived in there (jail) because she didn't have to do anything for herself in the way of surviving......no bills, no worries about the next meal, no "keep up with the jones's as far as clothes etc, etc. Parasites often do well when incarcerated. Her problem now is that all along she could pretend there was an end date to all of it.........she was still going to have that great husband, house, nice clothes and blond hair again. This verdict has thrown her off her rocker because there is nothing better to look forward to. I however, think she will adapt well to long term in prison as long as it is in general population. JMO

and her and her 'girlfriend's' plans to have a baby sure got shot out of the water.

Collect Calls:
Inmates can place collect calls when the call is accepted and paid for by the receiving party (e.g. friends and family). Note: Inmates cannot place collect calls to cell phones, numbers that are blocked from receiving collect calls, or if your telephone provider does not have a billing contract with the inmate telephone service provider.

Pre-Paid Calls:
Inmates can call cell phones and blocked telephone numbers only when the called party establishes a pre-paid account. To get more information on establishing an account:
By Telephone: Call 1-800-913-6097
By Internet: Log on to www.myvconnect.com

Automated Set Up: When an inmate attempts to call a telephone number for the first time that will not accept collect calls, the called party receives an automated voice prompt offering a connection to the vendor's account center so that an account can be established. There is also an automated voice prompt offering a one minute one-time courtesy call.

Looks like Jodi and Troy must have worked out an account, otherwise she could not have left a voicemail on his telephone. Wouldn't her legal team be informed of this kind of activity? I guess they knew she was talking to the reporter (you can see Jodi mentioning the interview to Jennifer on verdict day), but may have thought they could convince her to cancel it hence the argument ..

Please do not forget that JA made the arrangement with this interviewer back in December 2012 that if she was convicted of M1, she would do a live interview with this young man.

If I could say anything to cmja it would be "your mom, aunt and granny have donated all the funds that have been sent to you to The Travis Alexander Legacy Fund"

This is kind of old (pre trial) but it is a handwritten letter JA wrote to the judge BEGGING to keep Nurmi from withdrawing from her case. I thought after reading it, that it was NOTE WORTHY, hope you guys do.

Oh Sweet Jesus! I pity, pity, pity her Appeals Attorney. I can see her, little tiny pencil stuck in her craw, writing feverishly. Wisps of bangs stuck to her sickly pale skin as she mumbles "No one will ever kill me, mark my library-like words!" Her fifteen minutes are ... tick tock tick freakin' tock.

Please allow me to say how sickened I was that JA wore that innocent little semi-pony tail behind her sick head during Decision Day in an effort to make herself look somehow innocent...Jurors saw right thru that too...

It was evident from Angela's page that the dad is the one trying to be there for the rest of the family, attending graduations and such. Btw looks like since the one daughter has been on trial, another has completed some of her education, gotten engaged, has a family she adores....just found it interesting, two different paths chosen by people raised by the same parents.

This is exactly the point I have been making. With nine children, I have produced sociopathic criminals as well as non-profit-starting public do-gooders. A disabled schizophrenic and a singer-songwriter. A truck driver and a U.C. Berkeley Masters level child/family therapist... a nutritionist, a musician and an accountant. A lactation consultant and a childless-by-choice.

I'm not downplaying parental influence, rather pointing out that everyone has a different birth position and genetic salad.

Hi all! Lurking since the beginning of this farce of a trial and decided to jump in! Just watched the verdict again and wondering if the convicted murderess has to comply with the admonition to the jury to not to "do" any media?

Apparently not.

When she was on the stand there were other distractions. :) But sitting in a quiet house watching her facial expressions, her mannerisms, and hearing her words up close, so to speak, makes the hair lift off the back of your neck. There is something so 'off' about her that it is downright creepy.

Those people who have chosen to support her actually interacted with her in person. Where was their radar? Did they 'know' what she is but supported her anyway? You are correct. That thought is very, very disturbing.

She will spend her days upon days years upon years writing pages upon pages detailing her ad nauseum excuses upon excuses and legal manueverings upon...you get the idea.

And all will be unsuccessful as she wiles away her time in a cell 23 hours per day until she dies in prison, one way or the other.
