I wonder how long they are required to hold her...seems like it would be 48 to 72 hours unless the person continued exhibiting symptoms of being suicidal.
The local news there said 72 hours.

good morning :seeya:
i wonder how jodi is enjoying that yoga mat smock and having no visitors.
her plan really back fired this time huh? she obviously never expected sheriff joe to stick her in a mental ward.
She looks like a real sweetheart. I haven't had a cat for a number of years. Always like them, but my last cat nearly bankrupted me. He was not aggressive in the slightest, but he WAS one big mother and all the other cats in the neighborhood felt compelled to start something. Sticking with dogs from now on.
:moo: i think she plans to take the stand again in the aggravation stage, and she's busy rehearsing and planning for it.
just thought, maybe she will observe a psych patient in there and do some mirroring, if she thinks it will be to her advantage
i just don't understand why this bothers you, correct me if i am wrong but i think the only person juan called an outright liar was jodi, as far as the experts, juan let them tell their stories, then would bring in documenation to refute it, and ask them something to the effect well if this is true, then what you said was not what happened. juan didn't and couldn't just call ppl liars or accuse the esperts of their inconsistencies w/ out documented truth - he didn't make any thing up - and juan proved ALV and dr samuels were less than truthful, way beyond just being biases, so why shouldn't juan point these facts out??
Tell your kids not to lie. The before trial, during it and conviction of Jodi on 1st Degree Murder. She's wilting. Now to find that shot of her in a padded safety suit...
Before

During trial

And after convicted on 1st degree, premediated murder, 7 premed and felony committed too. Awesome jury huh?

I don't think she has a chance of ever learning she was wrong and admitting it completely. Ever. My hopes are she will get what the family agrees with and if that's the DP, I agree too. She shows no remorse but for herself. Scarey person and evil with many faces. Many times I thought she had dual or multiple personalities but it's just one evil person guiding who she should be next.
My thoughts are with the family & my sorrow is with what Travis endured. He threw red flags and told friends she was a stalker. He was too nice to Jodi Arias. The only domestic violence has been proven by Jodi and her killing of Travis. RIP Travis, your family has it, along with Juan. Most importantly, whatever comes next in JA's defense, the jury has your back too. I'm so glad about the conviction.
Possible cold sore next we see here. Fair warning.
At this point, what happens if she does physically attempt suicide? Does she stay put in the psychiatric unit or is she moved to yet another facility? Does everything come to a hault? TIA
I imagine you guys have seen this description of the death row she will be going to...complete w/ video. They can't even TALK to other inmates.

Does anyone know yet whether Jodi will be released from psych ward to go to court ?
Coudnt they let her come to court and then right back in psych ward if they were only worried about suicide?
Greetings and felicitations, to all you fine Websleuth peeps!:websleuther:
All rested and refreshed after a Jodi-Free weekend; it was lovely.
But looking forward to Wednesday and to being one day closer to CFJA being sent off to DR. (aka perp purgatory)
:jail:
Now I think I'll wander off to YouTube and watching that "guilty verdict" tape, yet again. It just warms the cockles of my hard little heart. :heartbeat:
:seeya:
She would stay there, on suicide watch. If she hurt herself badly enough to require hospitalization they would have to move her to a hospital, where she would remain on suicide watch.
JA specifically said on the stand that Travis picked her up off her feet and then body-slammed her onto the tile floor. Ridiculous.
I'm only guessing, but if she has shown signs of outbursts relating to suicide, then no I wouldn't think they could take her to court. On the other hand, we've seen her show up seriously medicated, so my guess is that's what we'll see on Wednesday.
Just because some others here have not heard that does not mean that is not a phrase that most of us have been using for years and years and years and years. You cannot trademark on it sorry Lol

Now see I have never thought she looked medicated at all.
