Aggravated waiting for the aggravation phase #5

This is worth dissecting. She claims memories are coming back, but when asked about them said she did not want to say. Just as in her first interviews after being arrested she did not want to tell the whole story.

This leads me to think she hangs out tidbits of information either for more interviews and/or her new trial. She is going for an appeal and already preparing her new "story" of what happened so her can further attempt to mold the new information that came out at trial to to her new story.

She now knows the prosecutor's case and she is smug and arrogant enough that she thinks her new story with her recovered memories will get her off.

The narcissist will never give up. She will fight to the end.

Or smug enough to think that she can throw some more dirt out there to make TA look like the bad guy and she the victim. But right now, she is playing the 'sorry I had to show what a hypocrite TA was and that was the State's fault'. She never has to accept blame for anything because someone always makes her do it.

I don't think so either. If she was a secret it was because TA's friends were constantly talking about what bad news she was and the red flags they had starting seeing. TA couldn't walk away for whatever reason..JA was a stalker and he was having difficulty figuring out how to get rid of her etc.

I agree that we will never know the whole story. It seems that when they were 'officially' a couple, we have video proof that TA was not keeping her a secret. The sex part seems to have definitely been a secret to some. But I would wager to guess if people were honest with themselves it was NOT the big secret JA thought it was.

I knew someone with a similar situation, both myself and another person were honest with this guy about how nuts his girlfriend was, and how much she lied. He listened like he appreciated our honesty. We only told him because he was naive and gullible, and he ASKED for our opinion. He said he was going to break up with her, but didn't, and we figured out he was lying about continuing to see her. Knowing we would disapprove, he just tried to hide it. And yeah, it was for the same reason - she was not girlfriend material but she was crazy in the sack.

I think what Travis did in that regard is not unusual at all. I truly believe if he fell in love with someone else and got serious about them he would have demanded Jodi leave his life forever, but at that time, she was just there and willing.

Did she really say that?

Even so, it makes sense. She did look like she was trying to make a connection to one or more jurors. I just wonder which one she thought she'd had. Probably one of the attractive male jurors or one of the older women.

I'll go back and listen to it again when I get a chance. If somebody else can find it, that would be great.

Now see I have never thought she looked medicated at all.

Okay, this is when I first noticed it. Several other posters that day commented on it as well.

It's April 3rd, day 40. It's a Wednesday, exactly one week after her first migraine episode. JW is finishing her direct exam of ALV.

Jodi Arias Trial - Day 40 - Part 1 - YouTube

At about 8:58, there's a sidebar that lasts for more than 7 minutes, so the camera focuses on Jodi a lot. She's not drawing or anything, just sitting there. You can see her drift off on a number of occasions. At least, that's what it looks like to me.

I'd be interested to see jurors 7 and 9.

Also her staring them down when they left each day was creepy. In the last interview, she says she prays for the jurors...then changes it to she prayed to get the right jurors...which was it?

Also, knowing her and they parasites that hang with her, is this a VEILED THREAT?? After all, her friends had the ba##s to steal evidence from a prosecutor's witness.

I do not think Jodi would ever try to kill herself. Why I don't know but I lean towards that she would never do it.

Agree 100%.

It's obvious CFJA finds herself fascinating: brilliant, beautiful, desirable and talented. Forget that she is none of the above, she would never de-edify herself by committing suicide. That would be de-basing. Plus, once it's over, you can't go back and concoct another version of it! It's DONE. She'll hold onto her life until the very last second and will go out screaming, kicking and crying. And blaming everyone else.

Are u guys familiar with the Stephanie Lazarus case?
SL was obsessed with her college bf. SL became a cop. He fell for another chick. SL stalked him and threatened new chick. She had a freak out. He had one last roll in the hay with SL. He married new chick. SL decided to confront new chick and murdered her. SL felt better and moved on with her life - got married to someone else, had kids. SL got away with it for ~20 years until DNA tech could be used.

Does anyone know yet whether Jodi will be released from psych ward to go to court ?

Coudnt they let her come to court and then right back in psych ward if they were only worried about suicide?

Attorneys around the country say she has to be in court to assist counsel.

Just curious---Does one have to be alive when they prob your brain to find out what makes a psycho "tick". Wonder if that would equate to the pain Travis suffered? I can dream can't I???:blushing:

They have been doing some amazing studies of the brain using a PET scan. I'm not aware of any studies using invasive techniques.

I was just reading up on this case, since I haven't followed it much.

One thing that really struck me was during the trial for the man that killed Rusty Sneiderman. He pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity (and was found guilty but mentally ill). The psychologists who testified in that case had remarkably similar behavior to ALV: they didn't read police reports, only summaries; they didn't look at interviews with other people involved in the case; they were only given and only read what the DT wanted them to have; they denied the possibility that the defendant could possibly be malingering; they stated that it was perfectly plausible that the defendant could be delusional and still behave normally; and on and on.

Made me realize that this kind of thing is not unique to the Arias trial.

Yep, saw that story on Snapped, I think, could have been ID. Anyway, her Mom keeps floating nonsense about how she must have made enemies in the LAPD because she worked IA, they framed her, etc. Of course, the evidence directly contradicts that theory, but hey, don't let facts stop ya. Oh, and talk about some interesting eyes -- she's got a set of crazy eyes that make Jodi look tame, IMO.

Yeah she does look out of it. At least in this fog she managed not to kill anybody. Thumbs up to you Jodi! Take it one fog at a time.

No I do not see her as being medicated at all. I see her trying very hard to see what they are talking about. Maybe it is just me but I honestly can say from what footage of the trial I have seen I never say her look drugged.

Oh and I read the letter she sent Ryan burns. She said her attorney jennifer referred to him as a media 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 something like that? Not verbatim.
She jodie blamed jennifer for having a strong personality! Realy Jodie like we didnt know.

i believe that she was referring to her old attorney Ms. Washington (I dont remember her name) IIRC the letter is dated before Wilmott come on as her attorney.

Lol granny jogged out
:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

I had to look twice when I seen ol granny's passing up the younger daughters out of the jail.
I read that the other twin took her 82 year old mom to a strip club for her birthday! You know it had to be willing! She wasn't dragged there against her will. Gives you some dynamics of this family's real personas.

Well...I'm 55 and happen to love the Chippendales in Vegas! Just sayin....

I read somewhere over the weekend that it was confirmed she was prescribed anti-anxiety medication and had been taking it for a year or so. I will try to find the source, it was a new article, not a message board. That kind of medication makes you somewhat numb to things.

There was even a time in court where Jennifer was overhead telling someone that she needed to make sure Jodi was taking her medication. That's hearsay I realize, but someone who was present in the courtroom said they heard it.

I remember that case. Oh for the good ol' days when women could murder people and no one considered them a suspect.

Jumping off from your post, I'm reading a book about the murder of a woman named Pen Meyer. The guy in that case was a stalker. Interestingly, he didn't murder the woman he was stalking, but her friend who he believed was responsible for breaking them up.

He was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder BEFORE he committed the murder. There are some amazing similarities to MMWJA*. He had a very complicated plan to avoid getting caught, but the plan had some glaring holes that drew police attention right away.

*Mark My Words Jodi Arias. Still my favorite name for her.
