Also.. IMO.. When taking pics like that, isn't there usually a pic of him putting it in .... something like that but the photos see are the end product?

I am having a hard time thinking that Travis even took that pic of her ... Wondering if the camera was set up and she did that herself?



Two have not been shown. I believe Juan Martinez when he said in his OS:


"The photos recovered were time stamped. The first set snapped in the early afternoon."
"Not only was he very much alive. He was involved in these photographs with a woman. And yes, they were both sinning, because they were going at it. They were nude and yes they were engaged in sexual relations in these photographs," said Martinez.

I remember JM saying that but at the time I also thought that these pictures have not been released. I still am not sure. I have not seen pictures of them engaged in a sex act. Has anyone seen these? ty

My final thoughts on the sequence of events

A few weeks or months before the murder the relationship came to an "end" of some sort. Jodi found out that Travis was going on vacation not only with another girl as his guest but also with a group of friends which indicated to Jodi that he was at least somewhat serious about this new relationships future viability. I think Jodi would have spent a lot of time specifically thinking about the fact that if Travis was openly taking this girl on vacation with friends then he was truly done with Jodi. (to me there is nothing more final in a relationship than when the ex starts introducing a new bf/gf to their friends). Jodi became further obsessed and enraged as not only would she have to "win travis back" but she would now have this new relationship to contend with. Jodi gets to a point emotionally where she will make one last trip to see Travis and basically give him an ultimatum.
She starts writing fake stories in her journals, plans her trip to Utah, gas cans, dyes hair, rental car, steals gun, etc. just in case she get's to Travis' and he doesn't want her back.
She drives to Travis' house.
At some point there is sex.
At some point he tells her that he either doesn't want her back or that he will not be taking her on vacation. I think it is also possible that she never confronted Travis about the vacation and simply waited for him to ask her to go with him, which he didn't.
Jodi kills Travis.
Jodi does her "best" to clean up the scene.
Jodi continues with her plan and heads to Utah.

A couple of notes..

I think it is also possible that she was dead-set on killing him weeks before the murder and he wouldn't have been able to say anything to stop her. One reason this is not my main theory is that she could have just walked in, shot him in the head a couple of times and left. The fact that there was sex, etc. leads me to believe she wanted something from him otherwise why not just kill him immediately.

I am still conflicted about the camera and why it was left at the scene. The only thing that makes sense to me is that she was cleaning up, got sloppy, mistakenly threw it in the washer... I think when she requested to go to the scene of the crime she actually wanted to see if she could locate the camera.

I think she knows exactly where she placed the items she took from the crime scene.

I do not believe her "fog" story.

The State couldn't recover everything that was deleted from the camera & Juan said there was a videotape of the sex that was not recovered. Still images were able to be recovered--but Juan did say the video of sex was not recovered.

If it wasn't recovered........how did they know what it was? How do we know it wasn't a video of Napoleon?

My issue with that pic of him in the bed is...

The only pic of TA in the bed that day that I've seen only one I know of unless some not released is that 'peace sign hand gesture pic' AND you do not see all of him.. just side from what looks like headboard BUT HERE'S THE THING..

If you look at pics of bedroom that would have JA standing against wall off side of headboard in corners next to nightstands.. Odd angle for sex play photo shots??

ALSO you don't see his entire body which always leads me back to the piece of duct tape found by the washer.. just seems something was not right.. I also feel that JA being a "Professional Photographer" <coughs Bullchit> would she not have tripod that could set up timed pics? Just sayin'

Duct Tape could have also been used to silence him from calling out to roommates when she first got there at 4 am??

Wasn't there that large chair with ottman(?) to the left of the bed? Did she pop up from behind it to take that pic of him? Nah, just Christmas tree and creepy behavior made me think of that...

I dont believe this statement is correct. I remember in the opening statements and closing statements JM stated that there were pictures of them in the sexual act..... that would mean there WERE in fact pictures they had that they did not release or show.

I really dont think JM would lie to the jury about that.

Sorry to quote my own post - but....

I have said it over and over again. The red that everyone has posted about in TA's groin area, in the picture of him lying on the bed with the hand in the air is cause from shaving his pubic hair, lube and the friction of sex. Please, PLEASE trust me on this. And I would mention the other reason I know for sure they engaged in relations, but people seem to get mad when I say it, so I wont. I will just leave it as it is. you can look up my old posts to see what the other item is that I am referring to.

But I still come back to the same place. If Travis believed Jodi was scamming him or going to blackmail him, why take the pictures? If you knew your girlfriend was slicing your tires and stalking you, would you let her back into your house and then take more pictures to give her even more evidence to blackmail you with? I'm stuck on this point because it doesn't make sense to me. Even if Travis was a total horn dog..... This woman sliced your tires, sent a vile email to someone you dated, and you bonk her? I'm confused.

One theory I've always held is this: she shows up and gains access...either through contrition, or as many have suggested threatening suicide. Then she begs to stay over bc she's broke, tired, blah,blah. He says sure, take the couch.

Next thing he knows, he's woken up by her, and by then he has reached "the point of no return" as they say.

Alternatively, it's always possible she gained access by sneaking in. Wouldn't be the 1st time.

As for the pics...idk, to me they've always looked suspect, even the shower shots, and IIRC wasn't there mention that the "in the act" pic(s) still never show them "together?" I'm pretty sure I heard something about a pic where she is supposedly on top, yet you still can't see any part of TA's body?

I've seen some very wretched photos, but haven't seen any of them actually in the 'act'.

The one I saw of Travis on the bed with the KY beside him seems to be snapped while he was asleep. Doesn't seem to me he's even aware the photo was taken. Neither do the first shower photos seem posed, but candid.
