Maybe because there was no blood spatter evidence of him being rolled onto his back? I was wondering too.

If Travis was already on his back this makes the throat cutting even more depraved if that is possible.

Yes, it does. She was looking at him and he knew what she was going to do.

Just horrendous.

My friend's an EMS and told me JA would have had to use 2 hands with that knife to cut through the ligaments and muscle of TA's neck back to the spine.

JA's eyes look like she may have cried over night. Guess that is the first 23 hours she has ever spent completely alone.

Don't let today's fake tears fool you so far. She will cry later for real if they say DP though.

Nurmi is making a mistake by continuing this 'fog' defense. The jury already 'told' you they don't BELIEVE it!

Sorry if this has been addressed already but are the victim impact statements today also?

How do we know that Travis was lying face up when she slit his throat?

I've always thought he had to be and it was a result of the way he collapsed.

If he had been in any other position than lying on his back Jodi would have had to turn him over in that small hallway in order to drag him back down the hall the way the picture shows.

I would picture him collapsing with his face down, that seem more "normal" but I think during the struggle she grabbed him and twisted and he ended up face up.

She was obviously telling a great big fat lie about wanting the dp, this isn't being argued against her will, she's trying to help with fake tears and head shakes

I had always thought he was on his stomach when she slit his throat...

Just when I didn't think it could get any worse....UGH

I don't know how I missed that...makes it even worse, but no other factors are necessary to know, in my opinion. That act was sufficient for cruelty.

as much as i do love and work fashion....the mitigation specialist is certainly looking great, but with that being said...i don't think it is appropriate in court, not to mention a DP case....it's astonishing to me! Just my honest opinion.....

I totally agree, I think she is especially pretty and dresses to compliment, but low cut is not appropriate for court. I remember when my elder son had to go to court for traffic violation and asked me how he should dress, and I told him the expression "the court" means "the judge" and it should dress to show respect for the court.

He learned a valuable lesson that afternoon, on his way out of the courtroom, the judge actually called him back before him to tell my son that he appreciated the respect he showed by dressing appropriately. It appears mom got so smart overnight!

I'm old-fashioned, though, I believe the attorneys should stand to make objections, all should stand for the jury (including the judge), and the defendant should stand for all verdicts. My dad is to blame for how I think about these things.

She is testifying today, right?. I swear I get the feeling she is going to continue with her self defense angle. Nurmi was talking about how both of them were in fight or flight mode. WTH..doesn't she realize no one believes her.:banghead:
