Found Deceased AK - Kathleen Henry, 30, video of murder victim found, Anchorage, 9 Oct 2019 *Arrest*

I think the wife is still in denial because the videos don't show his face. He was recognised by his voice and I presume LE have not shared the audio with her. So she assumes this is all a mistake and it's not his voice, and it's not him. Tbh I would think the same if such horrendous accusations were made against my husband with the only proof being that an officer thinks it's my husband's voice on a snuff tape.

I wouldn't want to be in her shoes right now ... horrendous!

I wonder whether someone else was in that hotel room - it can't be easy to strangle a conscious, struggling person with one hand. Or was it filmed with a GoPro? OMG this is just so terrible to think about :( Poor sweet woman!

ETA: I agree with others here, they will probably find other victims ... This doesn't sound like a first murder.

Yeah maybe he had the GoPro on his head. He probably kept it in his truck so he could review the footage and relive it. Someone broke into his truck, stole the GoPro and found the footage than either put it on a memory card for someone to find or turned it in saying they found it. Curious if they knew about him before breaking into his truck.

Apparently when they broke into his truck they also stole all his identification so they could have included the ID with the SD card and made the investigation go a lot faster.

The wife did say they were questioning her about if she was helping to find him girls and if she was in a parked car with him at one point by a park. So maybe someone else knew and strategically turned him in via a found memory card.

Is the profile photo on his FB page a picture of him and his wife? That pic is creepy as hell.

Well, technically (according to TOS), unless it's proven she was directly involved, she's just as much of a victim of this man - just in a different way. It may be hard for us to wrap our brains around a woman who defends her depraved, pervert, killer husband, but obviously part of the reaction for a spouse hearing this kind of earth-shattering news, would be denial. I suspect eventually, the wife may come to realize she married a monster. I hope she has access to some real good therapy to help her deal with what that means.

You are correct. After this I sad I feel some kind of petty for her. Her live scattered.

it makes sense hat a thief saw what was on it and set it up to be found. thy don't want to admit they burglarized a vehicle.

Is there anyway to put the victim's name in the title of this thread? She's not unidentified and she deserves to be named more than the slime accused of killing her, in my opinion.

Was his computer found? The person that robbed his truck might have popped the disc out of his computer (laptop) and tossed it before taking it inside a pawn shop to sell.
If his laptop was stolen then look for a pawn shop close to where the disc was found to find a laptop for sale that probably has lots of traceable evidence of past crimes.

What makes you say that?
The woman in the background has a rather "Stepford Wives" look about her. It just seems odd, particularly given what we now know about the guy.

Wife is lucky she is not a victim;
Instead she might have been providing a home and other perks to give him a “normal” appearing existence and “stress free” if she is paying his bills and providing a cover as a “normal” married couple...
Again South African relationships, criminal episodes, and unsolved rapes and murders should be explored too...
Along with his travel history...
Sounds very experienced...

Yes, she's staring in the background. Looks like some kind of fantasy of his...him youthful, her dazed looking.
And to depict some type of mystery book cover

Wow, it sounds like the pics and videos thoroughly record the entire torture of this poor woman even carting her dead body to the truck. I don't know what to make of someone misplacing such horrifying documentation of their crime, or leaving it in their truck.

So many of your posts about the SD card made sense, but I couldn't decide how this really happened. Not being into all technical devices, I am depending on the smart people here to share their opinions.
(1) Marking it with a title would mean there's other SD cards and other murders.
(2) Yet, he would be an complete idiot to actually title the SD card with the words "Homicide". Maybe someone else wrote that. It's bizarre if he actually titled it like that for his library.
(3) Now, if it's true his truck was broken into and lots of items stolen, someone else could have taken the SD card out of his laptop or whatever and tossed it. Someone on to him could have set him up.
(4) Was he selling the foldable drone for a reason. He says just to get rid of it. What did he use it for?

"According to the newspaper, the SD card was labeled “Homicide at midtown Marriott” and it allegedly shows Smith..."

It's a photoshopped photo from Robert Palmer's video clip "Simply Irresistible".

The woman in the background is Brian's wife... You can check the original photo on her FB profile.

MOO

Many wives have no idea what their husband's are up to.

Russell Williams wife was completely in the dark. He had hundreds of pairs of undies, bras, lingerie etc., all catalogued and hidden in his home along with videos of his murders and rapes. They were there too. She had no idea.

I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't know.

I think #3 is it, I think someone was on to him and set him up. Maybe there are other memory cards yet to be 'found'.

I too am curious about #4 drone and computer but I'm sure he wiped the memories however it may not be possible to 100 percent wipe them clean. Hopefully whoever bought it brings it forward.

What's even creepier is that I think they are saying Kathleen died on the 4th but was disposed of on the 6th and there were pictures and video after the 4th. What was he doing with her body? Def not his first.

I think she may have thought he was cheating but I don't believe she knew the other stuff. She said he worked at the Marriott. I wonder if he actually did.

Looks like they are going back over his travel history as well -

Defendant in hotel killing indicted on additional charges; FBI ‘actively’ assisting investigation

This homicide investigation is ongoing and involves the cooperation of numerous local, state and federal law enforcement agencies,” wrote assistant district attorney Heather Nobrega in a filing asking that the warrants be sealed.

“Release to the public would compromise the investigation in Alaska and “possibly in other jurisdictions.””
