The coffee hut is painted a bright teal color. I will blow it up bigger when I get home, or maybe a newscast will have a close up tonight.

You are RIGHT. I blew it up and it was KEYES CONSTRUCTION on the top and phone #. Thanks.

The truck with the tool rack. But they want the public to imagine without the rack? Okay. At least the rack was a distinguishing feature. There must be 2000 trucks just like this in Anchorage.

So, Keyes removed the tool box thingies to abduct Sam, but then put them back on before he left on vacation the next morning? LE is asking for anyone that may have helped him with the rack.

They said they DO know the year of the truck, just none of them knew it off hand right then and there. They said they will get it and give that info to the reporters.

Did we ever get a description of the truck/it's owner that was parked near the hut that supposedly didn't see anything?

And I think anyone can understand that much of the information cannot be shared with the public. There is a missing person's life possibly at stake here (although IMHO she is probably already dead).

I'm not sure if I think there are others involved or not but perhaps?

In all fairness to JK I must say that if MY daughter were missing I would probably be a raving lunatic!

They said the racks which are the pipes that go across the top. This seems a bit odd to me. I don't think he would need to remove it to abduct her but possibly to change the look of the truck at the time? Who on earth would abduct someone with their phone number in bold print on the side of the truck though? The didn't say the toolboxes were removed.

amen.

ETA: JK is a victim here per TOS/Websleuth's rules. But no one is allowed to call anyone a name here at WS.

ETA #2: WS does not allow bashing of any LE per TOS/Websleuth's rules. Hope this helps our wonderful posters who are here to help find Samantha or at least bring her justice at some point in time. I'm not a mod.

Okay, crazy theory maybe...and I hope it's not too hard to follow, but here goes.

I think it may be right that IK was in the truck when she was abducted. They made it a point to say that there was a man in a truck 50 feet away when the abduction took place, that he was "oblivious" to it. Maybe he was suspect to them all along, but either actually cleared him for lack of evidence, until they got him for the theft. Or they couldn't find him, because a white truck is hard to find (if it didn't have the green box on it).

Hmmm...I really wish we knew who "person A" was.

hmm...we know a whole lot more after that don't we...:waitasec:

Has LE confirmed when IK left Alaska? I know there were comments from others, but do we have confirmation of when he left the state?

I wonder if Keyes was in the truck that showed up on the video at the coffee shop which was parked 50 feet from the shop when she was abducted but the individual said he didn't see anything?

I am betting it was. It would have to be something that obvious for them to put it out there, because God knows this department is useless.

When the info came out about the truck that saw nothing it was just so vague and I don't think anyone paid much attention to it. Did anyone see a description ever of this truck? Did the person say why they were sitting there? You don't suppose it was him and he thought maybe someone saw him sitting there and he called LE to say he was there but didn't see anything?

I noticed the bank robbery was mentioned ...

  • #452
And my guess is that if it WAS him and his truck he didn't have the racks on!

The reporters asked if he was a linked to any TX bank robberies.

That comment was made by Tyler Duncan the CGE owner. He was saying it was so stealthy the person sitting that close didn't seem to notice.

It's almost like they shut down the media after those initial interviews that let out some info. Nothing sense has given any insight at all!!

Very interesting... I'll just bet that was IK. Perhaps LE tracked him down and he admitted to being there but claims to have not seen anything rather than my assumption that this person contacted LE.

Yep, I don't think there was anything about it other than this:
The abduction was apparently so stealthy that a person seen in the video, sitting in a pickup about 50 feet from the stand, didn't appear to notice anything strange, Tyler said.

"They were just oblivious," he said.
