I have a quick question about a statement made by James Koenig on Feb 7th.

I believe that in court records in an earlier post in this thread that she DID show up to the hearing, but refused to continue the case and left early before the heaing began, and the charges were dropped.

The court records says she "Failed to Appear" at the hearing.

isamom....let's be real. The admin of the Help Find page put a post up a day or so ago about "Me thinks the lady doth protest too much", followed by alot of thinly veiled giggling and commentary. Clearly, it was about CB's mom. Only when one of Sam's supporters pointed out that they could tell it was a cryptic message and that they didn't think it was in keeping with the supposed positive image of the site, it was removed.
I truly don't want to argue about this, but please let's not stick our heads in the sand here...

I understand and I dont want to argue either. Actually I am not upset with anyone, just trying to give my thoughts on it. Nothing wrong with a healthy debate!

I remember that quote. And I believe that was put up there after Cbs mom was saying those cruel things. It was removed. But really that one "quote" doesn't really mean that the page has been just talking trash about CB.

But yes, this doesnt help in finding SK!

I remember that too. I just went and looked up the court records again, and noticed something I hadn't before. I does say that the petitioner (Sam) failed to appear, but under "events" it shows the hearing was held with a start time of1430 and an end time of 1635. For a 2 hour hearing, something had to go on. I wonder if CB and/or his lawyer appeared and the text evidence that they claim they have proving the allegation false was turned over to the court, hence the matter was dropped?

The other detective we have heard from is the police spokesman.

I honestly think this was a true abduction and they know who has/had her and they are trying to find enough evidence to arrest him/her. If they believe she is passed and have a idea where she might be buried/dumped..they may just be waiting for spring to find her. If they believe she is alive they may know the direction he/she went with Sam but not exactly where.

My sister ran away in Alaska for 1 month when we were teens. My mom went to the police but not much was done at the time. My mom and her bf went to the streets and talked with people and payed people for the info to find her. I really wonder if this is one of the reason's JK has tried to raise more money....it seems that way from things he has said. like the comment about if he finds her no one gets the money ect...

When driving north in Alaska with certain cell phones there is not as much coverage. Calls are dropped and the battery is drained much much faster. (this is from personal experience from when I visit) The further you go north the worse it is until there is no coverage. I wonder if this is the reason they are having a harder time locating her if they are going by the cell phone records. Not sure how the cell phone's work going south of town.

This case has become almost as bad as the Hailey Dunn case...I just hope this don't have the same end result as that one does..

I am always skeptical when LE starts quoting the number of tips, as if that has anything to do with anything...we all know that Kyron's case generated over 3000 tips, we've been told that numerous times...and other cases hundreds of tips as well. We've also been told in Holly's case that they are "one clue away" which is about as an aobvious statement as can be made-what open case isn't? So none of what LE is saying has any meaning to me, at this point...JMO only.

Well, that post was from JK. And yes shared on the page because his posts are shared. Not the admins of the page.

If you go to the Find Samantha FB page and scroll down, at the bottom on the left hand side it lists JK as the page owner.

The page owner is the one who created the page, so ultimately they are responsible for all postings to the page, regardless of who he has given admin rights to.

Again I dont mean to argue but that is not correct. Just because he is listed as page owner does not mean he created the page.

And to have said the things she has said about SK was uncalled for and out of line. She makes me sick. If you want to attack the family, whatever, but to talk poorly about a girl who is missing, just horrible.

IMO, TC would've kept only saying positive things about Sam if JK hadn't attacked first,that's the whole point. There was nothing in the interview that should've caused the kind of reaction by Sam's friends.. CB and his family had every right to tell their side of the story. CB was being accused in public just going to the gas station and receiving death threats. His brothers and sisters were being harassed and had to be taken out of school, what mom wouldn't want to get out there and set the story straight.. remind everyone that Chris was NEVER named as a suspect in the case or even a person of interest. TC tried, in my opinion, to tell their side as respectfully as possible, without attacking or slandering Sam in any way. It was only AFTER the attacks on her for doing the interview that things got ugly.

yes. I have not personally seen anything from CB's page pertaining to JK, because his wall is not public. I saw nothing from the admins other than denial and omitting.

I think all this talk about CB and his mother is important only because, JK has not mentioned or implied anyone other than CB is involved. As a matter of fact, I can't recall anyone elses name coming out of his mouth... (he did mention Mike in a rant)

What made the rant including MP interesting was the fact that only AFTER that did CB's mom mention the info MP purportedly turned over to the lawyer regarding theft and drugs. MP was not mentioned by CB or his mom prior to that. So, what made JK include MP? Did he already know MP had gone to the lawyer with information?

That was for the first hearing, when she filed. The next one, where Sam didn't show, was 2 days later, on 11/17.

So, back to sleuthing , what do we think could be the possible reasons for no straight answer on whether or not Sam's belongings were taken with her, or left behind at Common Grounds? Seems like the simplest of facts from the case, but it's never been concretely nailed down, almost as if LE doesn't want it to be. Now....why would that be?

I also wondered about that.. and I also realized today that TC & MP became friends on fb way back on Feb 11. Not sure what that might mean or who sent the request, but either he wanted to let her know something, or she wanted to find out more about him. Just the fact that it was so early on strikes me as strange..

Which is EXACTLY why she never attacked him!! Or blamed him (or Sam) for anything! She was very respectful.. UNTIL JK unleashed his rant/threat towards them.
Sorry for continuing to argue this point.. I'm done with this subject now.

OK. Why must we beat the dead horse that is JK and CB's mom? They gave an interview to clear his name/tell their side. JK jumped all over them about it on a public fb forum. CB's mom responded in kind, and jumped him back. CB's mom apologized for her behavior. It's over.
YES, we have seen what they said about Sam.....what MP told them about Sam, and what CB's mom admitted she only said "aloud" on her personal fb page becasue she felt backed into a corner by JK's public post on Sam's Help Find regarding them.
People say they were nice because they WERE up until JK jumped them after they gave the interview, in which CB's mom actually said some very nice things about Sam.

We need to stop this. This is not helping her get found, and I thought that was what everyone wanted.

I know, it's kinda weird. A person close to Sam that helps with her site gave the most updated description... but I'm confused as to why the APD didn't, I mean afterall they saw the surveillance footage. Ya know?
