I think they thought that the only thing they (NCMEC) would provide was a FB page. I hope they see this page with those resources and look into them fully.

What would make them think that? Sloppy or hasty research? Many wonderful resources out there for families of the missing. One only needs to Google and contact them.

I just can't understand what mindset her "camp" is working under that would cause them to not use EVERY resource available to them. That just seems crazy to me.

I know not everyone can get on the FBI page...not sure what the criteria is for that, Holly Bobo is on there. Although I also noticed today that someone who was found safe last year is still there too, so even the FBI apparently does not do such a great job in keeping it current. JMO

Speaking of that.....SamStock was almost 2 weeks ago, and the fundraiser that that bar had was about a week ago. I haven't seen a change in the reward amount on the missing poster. :waitasec:

However, in Michelle Parker's case, they held several fundraisers to support their searches and help with the children (I guess for a trust fund maybe) AND they got a lawyer involved that set the account up appropriately. They literally search all the time and utilize the funds wisely.

As far as I know and regarding the cases I've followed - then no.

Then again there was the Anthony family seeking donations...

Not sure if everyone is aware or already saw this but you can watch JK and his Press Conference on Ch 2 at 10pm, Ch 4 at 9ppm or Ch 13 at 10pm AK time, there should also be an article in tomorrow paper, ADN. Not sure what will all be put on the news from the press conference but wanted to give you all an update.

All I can say this is the first case I remember where donations were sought publicly strictly as a REWARD Fund, and the family so blatantly announced they had dipped into it for personal use.

I am not sure but usually you can pull it up off one of the news sites afterwards.. but if we are allowed to on here I am sure someone or I can fill you in on what was said. They might have a small update on the 6:00 news for Ch 2 but I dont know. Keep you updated!
