In all honesty, I'm not even that interested in his pc. He certainly isn't going to say half of what he's said on non-MSM, and until he's ready to get REALLY real about her, admit she might have some issues (which is NOT a "negative") and stop pointing fingers in one direction, I don't think it'll give us any other angles to explore or bring anyone any closer to bringing Sam home.

Just in my opinion I would have to disagree. I believe he has already stated her issues in the past, he is being real, he hasn't made it sound like she has been a perfect child. I believe the problem everyone is having including him is that at this point no one can figure it out, not him, LE, anyone. It is hard because everyone is trying to figure out what else can be done, or what other angle can be explored and everyone including him are having a hard time trying to get somewhere or be closer to getting her home.
I also believe he would have no problem saying what he said on the non-msm boards, I personally think he would let them post the letter in the Paper had they asked. He certainly was not hiding that information and wrote it openly for everyone to see.
I am just trying to figure out what you mean by get more real, I mean how does anyone know he is not being real. If he is not agreeing to the rumors or what some have said is probably because they are untrue.
Now this is just my opinion. I am one that is looking forward to the news this evening!

They were streaming about the Iditarod. I heard that his interview will not be on until the 10:00 edition, I was thinking maybe they would mention something during the 6:00 edition but not sure. Who knows with them. I just know that it has been posted t be on at 10~

Thank you isamom for sharing your insight and views as a local.. At this time there is so very little that we can openly discuss so, I can very much appreciate your replies and posts speaking about what is your personal opinion on certain aspects or details that are being stated here in Samantha's threads..

I can absolutely appreciate what you have stated above about James having acknowledged Samantha's struggles and/or "issues" she has dealt with in her short lifetime, specifically those struggles over the course of the last few years.. Im not certain that its fair to ask for anything more regarding his already admitting to his daughters use and/or actual struggles with more than one substance or drug.. Imo that is so very much more than many parents would be willing to admit or even broach the subject of be it their child found to be in a similar tragedy as Sam's abduction..so, isamom I'm in agreement with you there..

As well as I agree with you that EVERYONE IS AT A LOSS FOR ANSWERS AS TO THE WHO, THE WHY, AND THE HOW regarding Samantha's abduction.. While I pray that LE has and knows so much more than what it appears and that they are well on their way to finding Sam at the very least..and then bringing justice on her behalf to those involved in whats been done to her.. While I desperately pray thats the truth that LE know so much ...I dont know if thats actually the case.. But I do know that as far as the rest of the individuals involved such as her loved ones, friends, the community that is pulling together because of Sam... I DO KNOW THAT ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE ARE ABSOLUTELY AT THEIR WITS END..just as you described.. They dont know what is the next thing that "THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO"..and they dont know where to find those answers they all so desperately seek.. The answers that will lead to Sam..where is she? What has happened to her? Why has this happened or is it truly the unthinkable of just random, opportunity for nothing but pleasures of the flesh? And who is the evil that has stripped Samantha from her very own life, loved ones, and friends..even her precious dog whom from all accts Sam loved unconditionally and I'm quite certain that her dog is very likely even mourning the loss of Samantha.. What and who has truly devestated so very many lives by taking this beautiful, full of life&love young woman, Samantha Tessla Koenig?..

That not knowing is a brick wall with which everyone is banging their head in trying to find Samantha.. In trying to even find how the hell ordinary people who havent a damn clue as to how a case goes..what the hell to do..and literally at times needing someone to tell you.. To istruct you on what is the next step, if even just to say, "put one foot in front of the other" to help and remind them to walk..

I agree with you that James is very much one to say what he means or feels and doesnt give a rats azz if someone doesnt agree or doesnt like it.. I get it.. I can see that..and this man may be a little rough around the edges in some people's opinions and guess what we may not agree on what or how he's chosen to pay monthly bills with some of the money.. But that does not make him any less of a victim who is desperately missing his daughter, FOR OVER A MONTH NOW!..if he were out buying sports cars and throwing money at every strip joint around while not caring a thing inthe world that Samantha was gone..well I might have more to say about it.. But hes not..hes not hiding what hes used the money for and hes not apologizing for it. I believe that absolutely rubs people the wrong way.. I get that and see why it does, but imo it still makes him no less a victim whose daughter has very likely been murdered(thats hard to say but its true)and i cannot even begin to imagine what the hell that would feel like in coming to terms with and facing that AS A VERY REAL POSSIBILITY FOR MY CHILD, as James Koenig is presently faced with doing..

Thank you isamom for your sharing the little that you know as a local and for very politely disagreeing with those of us who may feel very differently about a man you know..a man who no matter what is going thru the worst hellacious nightmare that us, as parents could ever imagine..

I have not followed this case much, but I have to say both the interview and the letter touched me.

All the rumor and innuendo and outright accusations have really hurt both of these families.

My heart breaks for Sam's dad and for CB's little daughter. So sad.

I hope Sam comes home soon.
