As disgusting as the pic might be, it doesn't make him guilty. He did have an alibi and witnesses as to where he was the night of the abduction. He's moving back to NC in a few days, which tells me LE is no longer looking at him as a person of interest if they're letting him leave the state.

I don't like it either but my oldest son was bumpin' when I was listening to CB's videos. Different age & genre & all about the beat for a dance step. I think we look at him a different way bc of how he shows himself but when I take a step back & look from the outside, he's actually a good looking guy. Maybe not in all of his pics but def in that cowboy hat picture. I don't care for his music but his voice is smooth and he can carry a lengthy tune. With a lil help with background, & with a lil professional training toward better lyrics, he might be able to do something.

Israel Keyes -- homeschooled ex-Mormon (according to cited news reports), an Army vet who has been around the world but is not terribly worldly (Sinai is mispelled on his website), who likes dogs (the pug picture sleuthed from his website) and is a conscientious craftsman (according to one former employer), keeps himself physically fit (the marathons, his arrest photo) and lives with a woman and child (can maintain relationships), is social within his group (the parties) though not with his neighbors (at least those who spoke to the press), but doesn't need city life (he has lived in Neah Bay, which is at the Westernmost top of the Olympic Pensinsula - it is a majestic coastline, but very isolated) is not an OBVIOUS sociopath. However, many people have well-developed social shells to hide their dark secrets, criminal or not.

One thing that does strike me is that as a relative newcomer to Anchorage with no family connections there (he does seem to have family in Colville, WA still), he is not so tied in to his local community. Doing something illegal but relatively hands-off, like skimming, to help pay the mortgage during lean times would not strain credibility. That's why I keep coming back to that idea -- doesn't mean its the right one.

I hope he can shed some light on the abduction and Samantha's whereabouts...

I don't know why sexual motives haven't been considered. This one guy had an RO filed on him for sexual assault by SK...

She was forced out of the hut and I assume with a knife or a gun and walked willingly with the perp. Why, oh why, do females continue to do this?

Hiya Whisp :seeya: Glad you decided to delve into this one with us. . The actual facts are very basic but My God the riggamaroll in and around the people involved, or even possibly involved is a whole other can of worms:worms:.

Sexual motive is definitely still a viable option and I've kept that option on the table throughout the case.. its my one constant that I have yet to find reason to debunk..while at times I have felt stronger about it as a/the motive and here in the past week have put it on the back burner while looking into other peoples theories and how they possibly could fit as well..

But for now the sexual motive is the only constant that's been an option on tthe table that I personally seem to somehow always come back to and theorize with it as the basis of Sam's abduction...idk?.. just a wait and see at this point .. looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts on it. .

MP is SK's mom's boyfriend's son. SK referred to MP on NUMEROUS occasions as her brother. He lists DC as his stepmom but she doesn't appear to be, only his father's gf. I don't believe it's to make himself sound more legit at all as they both have referred to each other this way for a very long time.

CB & MP are def not my cuppa tea but then again neither is SK. AFAIC, none of these peeps are stellar citizens for crying out loud. Snoop Dogg is a millionaire & a reefer advocate, has made tons of money off of his "gangsta" style music including cuss words, weed, guns, sex & violence. Tons of rap stars, and I do mean TONS, are doing he same. Sure CB has a "background" BUT so does SK and everybody else she surrounded herself with, by choice as well as family.

We've all gone over why JK mentioned "fear" as the reason SK didn't follow through with the court order yet a lawyer, court officials AND media have seen texts from SK to CB that prove CB's innocence. Fear? Next they'll start saying the only reason she was a drug driver is bc she was in fear. Oh well, thank gosh JK cleared that up when he said it was for extra money & whatnot.

TC said her step brother. TC said this I believe in order to make her story sound more legit, as far as the whole SK took money, ect..ect...
All I know is that regardless of how they refer to each other they are not related by any form, and hopefully when SK gets home I am certain she wont refer to him as even a friend.

Last interview I saw, the detective failed to comment on whether or not CB was still a suspect or POI in this case. Maybe I have missed something sense.

JK has been openly honest about his daughters past. I dont think anyone can say they have been perfect. So I do not judge her for the mistakes she has made. Sure she may not be your "cuppa" tea. But she is too many others.

Police said an armed man took her, and anonymous comments left on published news reports and rumors passed along via Facebook and Twitter began pointing at Bird.

Police said they had investigated Bird as part of initial investigations but he had never been named as a suspect in the case.

CB is apparently leaving the state...that pretty much clarifies whether or not he has been cleared.
I don't believe anybody has said that they are perfect, and I don't remember anyone here judging Sam for her mistakes, but it's hypocritical to say her mistakes should not be called into question but think it is ok to rake CB over the coals for his. Again, his basic rights are not different than hers just because she is missing and he is not.
As far as MP goes, I believe TC said step-brother, because the only thing keeping that from being accurate is the marriage between SK's mom and MP's dad, who are, or were at the time, in a relationship.

I would take that stuff with a grain of salt. I am not sure that it is accurate and I can guarantee that even if there is kernel of truth CB's mom has portrayed everything in a certain light.

IMO in discussing MP(who is in reality of zero relation to Sam by blood or marriage) of note should be the fact that it is he, MP who is the link which directly connected Sam to CB.. MP being CB's BFF and the very person who brought Sam and CB together in knowing one another is not only a very important detail but one which is all too often left out.. IMO when properly included it definitely makes much more clear what the dynamics are and reasons or motives as to why they may be saying things..

Agreed. That's part of what makes this case so frustrating. Heck, we still can't even rule out either of those camps being directly involved in the abduction itself.

I do tend to believe the bad things JK says about his daughter though (her prior drug problems and all that). Because he probably doesn't have a motive to lie about that. He wants to portray his daughter in a positive light so if he says something that could be construed as not positive I tend to assume it is likely true.

He seems so unconnected to SK. Maybe he saw or found something in a house he was working on. Or maybe during the two weeks he was "out of town" he drove her somewhere and she paid him with whatever is at the center of the access fraud.

I agree. At first I thought he may be a serial predator. But, the more I have thought about it, I really wonder if he is an informant/agent for DEA/AFT/FBI, etc. They are protecting their source. That could explain the low income/cost of living issues. The arrest warrant could be manufactured to protect him. Just my thoughts...:twocents:
