Question for anyone - do you all think this is the actual Trial to start or just a trial call hearing? Seems strange that trial would start at 2:30pm.

Judge reduced (4/1/20) to $10K CASH bail & $50K unsecured bond & 24-hour location monitoring. Arrested in Oregon & extraditing to Alaska on 10/2/19. Out on bond (1/6/21).
New advances in DNA help this case. GEDMatch & “genetic genealogy”. Admits to having sex with Shelley, but denies killing her.

Brother of man arrested in Alaska cold case murder says his brother is innocent

McQuade was arrested 41 years after the murder of Shelley Connolly. DNA taken from his cigarette butts matched DNA found at the crime scene in Alaska.

This article was from 2019 where they interviewed the perps brother. I haven’t found anything that explicitly stated the judge recused himself but I’ll keep you posted if I do.
