Circumstances of Disappearance
Wesley was last seen on 01/07/1974 riding a snow machine on Tustumena Lake when he fell through the ice. He is presumed to have drowned.

I found a site with the type of snow machine he would have used and he was mentioned by name with a comment from his Mom who lost two children. On January 4, 1974, I lost Wesley, my firstborn and oldest son. He went through the ice on a snow machine on Tustumena Lake on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. And that is where he lies today.
"When one goes down on one of those lakes, they don't bother bringing the bodies up because of the deep holes they go into; they are soon covered with glacier silt and the water is so cold that they never decay. They just stay the same."
