COLBERT CO., Ala. (WAFF) - A Colbert County woman claims her husband’s hanging death was not a suicide.
After five children and 20 years together, Leigh Richardson said she knew her husband, Dennoriss Richardson, better than she knew herself.
“100 percent, I know that this is not a suicide,” Leigh Richardson said.
Investigators found Dennoriss Richardson hanging at the carport of an abandoned house in Colbert County in September 2024. They said he had been missing there for a few days.
