
Woman, 61, Dead and 2 Injured After a Dog ’Went Crazy’ in a Sudden Attack That Ended with a Neighbor Shooting the Animal
A 61-year-old woman is dead and two other people were injured after a dog ‘went crazy’ in a sudden attack in Alabama on Sept. 23, according to authorities. The dog was fatally shot by a fourth person who was on the scene.
Deputies responded to a report of a dog bite on Macks Way in Oneonta at around 3 a.m. local time on Tuesday, Sept. 23, according to the Blount County Sheriff's Office, per AL.com, WBRC and WVTM 13. Upon arrival, they found a 61-year-old woman, Sandra Wolfe Schaefer, and two others injured.
