Birmingham police are searching for a 75-year-old man who has been missing since he left a relative’s home around 3 p.m. Friday.

The man, 75-year-old Adolphus Brown, was visiting a relative in the 500 block of Orchid Road when he “walked away,” said Birmingham police Sgt. Johnny Williams.

Williams said Brown has been diagnosed with dementia. He may be trying to walk to his residence on 53rd Street in Ensley, he said.

Anyone with information about Lassiter’s location should contact Birmingham Police at 297-8420 or 911. If you have additional information on this investigation, contact Crime Stoppers @ 254-7777.

Note: Distance between Orchild Road and 53rd Street is about 16.1 miles according to Google Maps. This would be a long walk.
