True. But it seems she was seriously injured in her own car, based on the blood evidence found in her car. So, what scenario would involve her being forced into someone else’s car and then transferred back to her own car? Just seems like connecting the dots would lead more toward her being forced into her own car.

I agree this is the most logical explanation but its certainly not out of the realm of possibility that she was forced into the perps car also. Remember she used her debit card at the chevron at 11:20 pm, her car was pinged on south collage street ( the road opposite the chevron) at 12:30 pm that's a little over an hour of time completely unaccounted for. That's plenty of time for them to have forced her into their car taken her somewhere in the auburn area then switched cars.

When the police released the pictures of Yazeed' in the chevron they asked the public for help to identify him and they stated that he was observed leaving in what is described as a late 2000's model Lincoln Town Car, silver or grey in color.

Aniah being forced into her vehicle and driven away by yazeed would contradict the above statement made by police at the time his pictures were released. The affidavit states " A vehicle" which would tie in with this silver town car.

Any ideas as to why the affidavit reads “alias” after his name in multiple places in the document?

Hey any locals in the Auburn area, could you confirm which Chevron AB was abducted from? I have been looking to see which on and only speculate its the one on College thats right next to the hotel and almost across from where the intersection of College/Shug Jordan. Could any of you confirm for me? I'm originally from Opelika and know the area from when I grew up around there. Much has changed to AU's surroundings here latelty. Thanks.

Perhaps you could access some public records from the jurisdiction?

We also don't know where they took her or what they did with her during that 1 hour period from the time she was in the chevron at 11:20pm, to the time when her car was pinged on south collage street at 12:30pm

12:30pm may be the time that they or one of them came back for her car. They may have been doing something else with her before they harmed her. She may have been harmed after 12:30 when her car was pinged on the way to montgomery.

That one hour makes this case even more disturbing. So terrible, so heart wrenching.

Agreed your theory could be a possibility. What is scary about that possibility is IF he was just the brute force, like someone paid him to kidnap her, or he was part of a GROUP that did it- there are potentially some VERY dangerous peeps still out there. This momma would probably be moving in with her kid if she had one at Auburn.

The story about the silver car also DOES Not say WHO was driving the silver or grey car. Just that HE / IY got into it.

I do think we aren’t being given all the info but they have it. If they saw him get in a car on video, they surely saw who got in her car. I know there has been speculation on the camera angle. But I’m going to hope they have more. Or possibly they saw someone get into her car but they were not at all identifiable therefore that info is being left out for leverage.

All IMHO

There is also a lot of this info already posted upthread and in the media thread. Some good maps have been put together.
Anything new being reported today?
I’ve been searching throughout the day. I haven’t seen anything new.

In fairness, my response was in reference to the IYs arrest in Macon County. ;)
Ahh I’m sorry. I am all over the place today. Thanks for pointing that out. I will look!

Question..why would they not know if anyone else was in the car at this point? If they took DNA from the car you would think that any other accomplices that helped from the time she was kidnapped until she was taken from the car after the attack, would have their dna in there as well ...and they probably been in and out of jail for violent crime too so wouldn't they be in the DNA database as well?
I truly think it's so important to know if they found other peoples dna in her car because if any other DNA was put through the database and had a positive hit, then we would know the name/names of who knows where she is.

Does anyone know where he was pulled over with the 77 year old in the car? Maybe they thought he was dead, or near death and were on the way to dump him when they were pulled over.

Yazeed and two accomplices were pulled over after another motorist reported them for erratic driving.

"Yazeed and two others were charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, and robbery. Yazeed was able to make his $280,000 bond and was freed."

Family: Blanchard’s alleged abductor nearly killed our 77-year-old loved one

Be sure to watch the whole news video. It's very interesting.

BTW: Full credit to Knox for first posting the link.

He was arrested in Macon County while driving erratically with the victim of a robbery who was beaten near to death in another case. I think he went straight to I85 towards Montgomery with her in the vehicle.

Beat her and wrecked along the way. Put her somewhere and then dumped the vehicle.

He’s always robbed and kidnapped with other perps in at least two other cases. I don’t think he acted alone.

So, what do you think he was doing for approximately an hour between the text to her roommate and the time her car was identified near I85? Assaulting her??? I feel she did something to tick him off and he snapped and beat her like he did the 77 yr old man. Also his other kidnap victims had items of value—cash, watch, while Aniah probably had nothing of value other than herself. Also, I just can’t fathom him grabbing her for a prostitution ring or sex trafficking although I pray that might be true. Thoughts????

My thoughts and questions in this.
1. The blood loss occurred in auburn and he didn’t drive with her in vehicle to Montgomery.

2. The blood loss occurred in Montgomery or en route.

My questions.
Why would he drive with either someone being forced to ride with him or that amount of blood all the way to Montgomery? Why not ditch the car in Auburn? Why not leave it in the woods or forest?

I know he ran (if I remember right) from LE before and rammed there vehicles to avoid being stopped. Did he just think he could do that again? I agree he’s not bright, but still, I would think get rid of car right away. Why drive to Montgomery with it.

Thoughts...
1. Maybe because he did go “rogue” or further than what he was supposed to and his partners in crime left him.
2. Maybe he’s just dumb
3. Maybe he had other plans for the vehicle?
Did he commit other crimes with it?
Thoughts,I agree with 2) dumb o_O 3) had other plans for her car:(

I think there was a second car and driver. He had to get to the curb store somehow. I think he acted alone in killing her, but someone was at that curb store with him( as driver of second car) They have probably done this many times. They were not expecting a tiny little lady fighting back. I think she fought hard

Yes but I don't think he kidnapped and killed her without hands on help... I doubt the accomplice just picked him up and that was it .. or do I sound completely off based? I'm not really familiar with enough crimes stories in this depth to know what the normal is..but I'm very familiar with dna research and the power of the answers it reveals..

I just HAVE to think that his DNA wasn’t in the car. If it was idk why they would have asked social media/the public to make a positive ID. There was an article that said SM had him identified in less than an hour. They immediately put out a warrant. I would think if they already knew who he was instead of putting out the photos asking for help on identifying they would have already had the warrant & put out a statement & photos of him being wanted for kidnapping Aniah. Even if their goal was to “flush him out” both of those things would accomplish the same thing. So, I have to think they really didn’t know...bc DNA would have pegged him immediately. I also think they would have accompanied his previous mug shot(s) with the surveillance photos bc they’re not good quality at all. IMO.

Good point but let's just say he slid by and wanst in the database because let's be honest, it isn't off based that an informant like him wasn't entered.. so the DNA might have ping them immediately it might have been the brother of a brother cuz I'm pretty sure somebody in his family is in that database and that takes a little bit more time 2 without a doubt match him than people would think
.. I just don't see how there could possibly be that much blood in there and 100% indicated harm and life threating injuries and his DNA not being there.. there's no way he put on gloves and used a sterilize something to harm get right there.... Frisbee and are not to be found in that car, on the outside of the car wherever it may be but I feel like I needed more than just a witness, surveillance camera, and her blood to put out the warrant out like they did. They knew he was the one who hurt her without a doubt.. the only way they had no doubt would be physical proof, like dna, or pictures videos something more than what we would know...

Another member mentioned that ABs blood was found in her own vehicle. I think the nature of the affidavit was for brevity in regards to the details.

She was almost certainly forced into her own vehicle imo.

This is the most logical and plausible scenario based on the information we have. Police have stated this was a carjacking (I will try to dig up a link or two which states that.)

Witness states AB was forced into a car, and I am almost sure it was said she was pushed over to the passenger side. Enough blood was found on the passenger side of "her" vehicle that would be life-threatening which means she bled out a lot on the passenger side of her car.

Ab's car had damage.

I think whatever happened did so very quickly. IY seems impulsive and reactive as opposed to calculating and precise. He is sloppy and messy. IY takes AB in her car, and from there, I think it all went down very quickly.

All the other possibilities and scenarios could still be possibilities, but I think it's unlikely with the information we have. The fact the affidavit does not explicitly spell out her vehicle may mean nothing. There is likely further information and affidavits that the press and journalists have seen, which is why they are saying her car.
