Another weird thing about the snap chat messages is that if aniah didn't send them, Who ever did would have had no idea who they were replying to if this was random.

Why would you send a message to somebody saying, i'm with eric, i just met him, late at night when you don't know who you are sending the message to?. For all the perp knew she could have had a boy friend, sending a message saying your with a guy you just met late at night would raise instant alarm bells to a friend/family member who knew she had a boyfriend.

Why not just say i have to stop by walmart or something. that's open 24/7 and ins't going to raise any suspicion, The i'm with eric, i just met him thing has always sounded super weird for a perp to message, why even message at all just throw the phone out.

Ahhh i dunno man this case just has so many weird things going on.
Ugh, yea... why didn’t we think of that before, yet the snap sender has a name and sometimes a visible story. Also saved convos could blur them in.

Was it announced that there was DNA connecting IY to AB’s vehicle? I forgot what the arrest warrant said

I am out of views, too. They must not give you many. LOL
What is that on his lips in pic, cold sores? speculation.
Aniah Blanchard kidnapping suspect receiving death threats in jail, attorney says
"MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - The attorney for Ibraheem Yazeed, the suspect in the disappearance of Aniah Blanchard, says Yazeed has received death threats in the Lee County Jail and was moved to solitary confinement for his security.

Attorney Elijah Beaver filed a motion Thursday asking the judge to reconsider Yazeed’s bond.

The motion states denying bond for Yazeed, who is charged with first-degree kidnapping, constitutes a due process violation. Beaver states Yazeed was not offered an opportunity to respond to the state’s motion, and the court granted the motion without a hearing or examining any evidence.

The motion also claims the state’s allegation that Yazeed has “an extensive history of violent criminal offenses” is false, saying Yazeed’s criminal record contains no convictions for any violent charge at all."

This is my first comment on this site. This is how I think it all played out, but is my opinion only:

I think it was a planned crime (robbery, carjacking and/or rape) but the victim was random. In one of IY’s prior robberies, he only got $40 from someone so there isn’t a huge wealth criteria to be his victim (this makes sense because Aniah wasn’t carrying a purse, drove a “normal” car and may not have appeared super wealthy).

Yazeed was possibly staying in a local hotel or w/ friends/other gang members. He either (a) walked to the Chevron OR (b) he and a friend drove the grey car. IY saw AB and decided she would be the victim and he forced her into her car at Chevron.

A witness saw the kidnapping. It was possibly the person in the grey car (assuming (a) above). They left the store before going inside. Cashier saw the grey car and AB’s car leave. He/she assumed IY was in the grey car b/c maybe he was the only other customer in the store at that time. This accounts for the first reports of IY leaving in a grey car. OR (if (b) above) the friend left in the grey car, and again, it was assumed that IY was driving. OR the witness was the cashier (LE said witness was outside to protect cashier’s identity) or it was just someone driving by/stopped at a light. Who it was really isn’t important, just trying to account for the mysterious grey car.

IY took AB to where he was staying or to a deserted location (friend possibly followed in grey car). During the drive, she fought, he hit something and it caused the car damage.

Snapchat messages – AB got a message from her roommate and AB told him she needed to text back or the roommate would call her parents. IY didn’t want to alert her friend so he let AB text her back. AB texted back with cryptic message about “Eric” knowing her roommate would not know that name and/or would think it is unusual. This would not alert IY to anything but could possibly alert suspicion in her roommate. Roommate said she was going to bed and AB knew her hint didn’t work. “I’m so, so sorry. I love you too” could actually be a message to her family (something that wouldn’t be too obvious for IY). Her phone was then turned off.

Within one hour, she was beaten, robbed and/or raped (possibly by more than IY) in Auburn. Perhaps, IY discovered her step-dad is a pro-fighter. Instead of leaving her alive (as in the other cases), he panicked and thought he needed to kill her so she couldn’t identify him. Or maybe her beating was so bad that it killed her unintentionally. Or maybe he killed her on purpose.

He put her in the passenger seat in her car and drove toward Montgomery (friend possibly followed in grey car). She was dumped in the forest on the way to Montgomery or in the Alabama River (I believe there was a former victim that never came forward who was threatened with being thrown in the AL River). He left her car at an apartment complex. A friend picked him up or he went with the friend in the grey car.
Just to clarify, I think you are referencing the second victim in the attack with the 77 year old man who only had $40 stolen. The 77 year old man had a Rolex stolen. I bet the other person was collateral and the 77 was the “planned victim”

I’ve seen mixed things about sharing things from this person, especially more recently. Someone please let me know if this is against the rules, but here is a news article that includes both her name and her tweet.

Auburn PD Searching for Missing 19 Year Old

This is fine. A mod answered in one of the threads that we can only discuss the tweet that's been in the media and not look at her full social media twitter account. I will say though that this Summer girl backtracked on what she said in the tweet that is in that article. I'm not sure if she's had anything to do with what happened or not but i do think she's worth looking into. Do we know if LE has talked to her?

Is it legal to administer a polygraph test even though it’s not allowed to be used as evidence?

I don’t think he has raped or killed anyone that we know of. Motive seems to usually be robbery.
I wonder why she is missing then? Why couldn’t he have just taken her car. Poor Aniah.

“The Defense asks that, prior to accepting the bald allegations of the State's motion, the Court require the State to prove its allegations with evidence. Moreover, the Defendant prays the Court will consider the long and repeated history of wrongful charges against this Defendant when considering bond in this case."

This actually makes me kind of nervous. Sounds like they may need to produce some real evidence soon.

Is it possible that IY is repeatedly thrown out there as the fall guy, knowing there won’t be much/any hard evidence and he’ll walk while someone else does the real crime? Could he have been sent into the Chevron specifically to get his face on camera, and then an accomplice actually abducted/assaulted her? Hoping it’s not that complicated, but this is a LOT of crimes to just walk away from.

I really don't know but as crazy as it sounds you could be on to something. His lawyer sure is making some good points in that article.

Beaver, however, pointed out that Yazeed has never been convicted of any violent offenses in Alabama

"Mr. Yazeed instead has a history of being wrongfully accused of serious offenses by the State and held in jail for long periods of time on insufficient evidence, later to be released without being formally charged," Beaver wrote in the motion.

"All told, Mr. Yazeed has spent approximately three years of his life in jail for six different crimes that he did not commit," Beaver wrote. "And in each of those six cases, the state did not being the case to trial. The state failed even to produce enough evidence to convince a grand jury of probable cause."

That is actually pretty crazy, I don't know the details or what evidence they had in those cases but for them to not have enough evidence to even take him to trial 6 times and having to release him that's insane. Looking at his rap sheet at face value it does make him out to be some kind of monster but he has never actually been convicted of any serious violent crimes. I am not trying to defend him here at all but those are facts and everybody deserves a fair trial. For all we know this guy is being used as a pawn for some bigger fish who also bail him out of jail every time.

Him going into the gas station on camera then kidnapping in from the gas station forecourt a girl who was also just inside on camera makes no sense, who would be so dumb?

I seriously question who this witness is that claims they saw him force her into the vehicle.

This case has so many bumps and turns i don't even know what to believe anymore. I am remaining opened minded until further evidence comes out.

No convictions because grand jury is a word can not say on here. I hope the grand juries on his past cases are proud of themselves, They are the reason this family is suffering.

I'm not sure if this is allowed but I have dreams and visions since I was 5 . I feel very invested in this. I do believe in others that can get bits and pieces. I wish I could have a full dream on this but my body is being so drained! I do know there are many more involved.

Really good points...I really wonder who she communicated with while at the funeral or on the way back. Were those messages deleted? Is that why so soon after she left Chevron it *seems* someone had access to her phone? I really don't know what to think, but I can't stop thinking about her parents feeling she was "set up." From all I have seen from them, they have been as self-controlled/graceful as imaginable. They don't seem like ones to just say that for no good reason. But then we have video inside the store & other facts that do seem to point another (random) way. Confusing.
