So do you feel that too or just saying?
I have no relevant professional experience to rely on how I "feel" about an event that I did not witness. However, what LE is claiming makes sense to me when paired with what has been released. It also makes sense that is a very likely scenario in that it is a common occurrence.
Predators have a binary decision tree. Yes or No. The narrative that he noticed her over his shoulder, then surveyed the area from the window, then exited in her direction, fits a very common scenario. Match this with the witness statement and there is little reason to deviate from this theory.
He saw her, noticed something about her that tipped his instinctive risk/reward calculation, and did his thing.

I can respect that.

As a Christian I have to apologize, I shouldn't say IY should not in hell. I pray he has a concessions, and turns to God to ask for forgiveness. Better yet he just comes clean and let's the family have peace, and he get what the law decides for him. I'm only human , but after praying I felt I should say this

I've not completely caught up on the thread, but possibility # 2 does strike me, particularly because of the last video I saw of Aniah's Mom -- she was so earnest in saying (paraphrasing here) that she felt she had all those safety talks with Aniah, but saying she felt rather guilty, like she could have driven the point home more/said more to Aniah (no doubt she did all she could; but like all us parents, we always feel like you should say or do more to protect our children out in the real world). She was so emphatic about parents really hitting this hard with their own children...it really gave me the impression that Aniah may have been too kind and did extend some help (or maybe just friendliness that opened her up) that night. So as I read along this thread (depending on what else you guys discover), I'm wondering if she did offer a ride to a second location...or go herself to a second location, to "help" with something. Sometimes, especially with young people with great hearts, they'll extend in ways you may think they won't -- especially if it was a "quick" help and she was generally comfortable in the surrounding area (like busy or lit environment all on the way). OR if something was said about a common friend, which made her lower her guard. Anyway, just some quick thoughts.

It is scarier than that. It would not have been necessary for her to extend any kindness other than taking the time to respond to a single overture. Taking the time to say the words "Im sorry, I really have to get going" can allow someone to close a surprising amount of distance. Once they are close enough, your options have become critically limited. It is hard enough to get adults to internalize this, much less young people whose brains have not fully developed risk analysis.

Coming from a father that served in the Vietnam war as a dog handler, then k9 unit, swat team, bomb squad , and then undercover .. I've been trained to understand such crimes. As well as being assaulted at 5! I knew how to fight back! I know its MOO but within my soul I know she fought back Yes she may have said hey if he said hey to her , but in no way did she ask for this. Iy has a evil soul, he didn't care just saw opportunities to do something.

Just to clarify, I am in no way implying that anyone asked for anything. Criminals are far more practiced at committing crimes than the average innocent person is at preventing them.

Driving past the Chevron and in the S College area tonight gave me a very eerie feeling. Like made me sick to my stomach actually. This area is well lit, populated and not near the bar area downtown. The time of night this abduction happened is not that late for the area. He must've moved quickly to go unnoticed.

“It breaks our heart to give this update and our thoughts and prayers are with this young woman’s family,” McGraw said. “You know, it’s just not the natural order of things for parents to bury their children. The loss of a loved one is the greatest stress that we ever face in our lives and when that loved one is one of our children and when that child is taken suddenly and, even worse, violently, it is the absolute end of the stress continuum. I will never say that I know how these folks feel or how anyone feels that loses a child, but I do know that it is unimaginable and that the pain is terrible.”

AU is capping undergrad enrollment at 25,000. Grad enrollment is expected to be 5 to 6,000. Auburn University plans to cap undergraduate enrollment
But Auburn has 37,000 beds for students. More after completion of the high rise student condos that are currently under construction. City could halt student housing developments
That is at least 6,000 beds to be filled by people other than AU students. Some of the downtown condos may be purchased by retirees and sports fans but who will rent the apartments on the other end of the spectrum? I think should be a leading indicator of crime in the cheaper apartment areas.

Forwarding TheNightWatchmans' post, #681:

In the tragic case of Hania Aguilar, the little girl was taken by an opportunist career criminal ****. Her parents were warming the car before taking her to school, and Hania who was inside the car, was taken with the car. She was raped and her body was found days later 10 miles out of town.

The car was found 5 miles out of town. Why? Because the perp needed to get back to where he was staying, closer to town. He was identified by DNA in the car.

Why didn't he torch the car and remove all evidence? Because there never was a plan, it was a crime of opportunity.

I see Aniah's case to be similar. I think if "Eric" was involved, LE would would be all over him and not saying what they are saying in the media. There is a digital trail.
Some type of fake Eric or catfishing scheme seems unlikely to end in murder, I'm not going there.

The fact that the car was found at an apartment complex many miles away suggests that the perp needed to get there. The fact that it wasn't torched suggests no premeditation and limited investigative knowledge. Aniah appears to be heading home that night rather than meeting someone. Something may have happened in the Chevron parking lot, or when she got home.

This really could be random. And the DNA left in the car will be critical. There might not be anything else to go by, other than the final location of the car, and finding the location where the car hit something.

NC - NC - Hania Noelia Aguilar, 13, Lumberton, MEDIA MAPS & TIMELINE *NO DISCUSSION*

Is it pretty safe to say she was dead by the second gas station citing? she didnt drive off when he got out, means he tied her up, killed her or left her somewhere else. If he tied her up already, how could she have caused the accident later?

Wonder if IY DNA has been connected yet?

  • #637
Could you explain how it's possible he could exit the CRV passenger seat and not have Squirmy Fisher there? Who the hell was driving?

  • #638
Things like this shouldn’t be able to happen out in public. Someone shouldn’t be able to force you into your car at a gas station without someone witnessing it and calling 911 ASAP.

The witness here completely dropped the ball and I hope he goes straight to hell

I knew way back when they found her car that she was shot - through a confidential person. And much more. Just couldn't put it on here, but I did share with a few of you privately.

Can you share the “much more” now?
