I have no relevant professional experience to rely on how I "feel" about an event that I did not witness. However, what LE is claiming makes sense to me when paired with what has been released. It also makes sense that is a very likely scenario in that it is a common occurrence. So do you feel that too or just saying?
I can respect that.I have no relevant professional experience to rely on how I "feel" about an event that I did not witness. However, what LE is claiming makes sense to me when paired with what has been released. It also makes sense that is a very likely scenario in that it is a common occurrence.
Predators have a binary decision tree. Yes or No. The narrative that he noticed her over his shoulder, then surveyed the area from the window, then exited in her direction, fits a very common scenario. Match this with the witness statement and there is little reason to deviate from this theory.
He saw her, noticed something about her that tipped his instinctive risk/reward calculation, and did his thing.
I've not completely caught up on the thread, but possibility # 2 does strike me, particularly because of the last video I saw of Aniah's Mom -- she was so earnest in saying (paraphrasing here) that she felt she had all those safety talks with Aniah, but saying she felt rather guilty, like she could have driven the point home more/said more to Aniah (no doubt she did all she could; but like all us parents, we always feel like you should say or do more to protect our children out in the real world). She was so emphatic about parents really hitting this hard with their own children...it really gave me the impression that Aniah may have been too kind and did extend some help (or maybe just friendliness that opened her up) that night. So as I read along this thread (depending on what else you guys discover), I'm wondering if she did offer a ride to a second location...or go herself to a second location, to "help" with something. Sometimes, especially with young people with great hearts, they'll extend in ways you may think they won't -- especially if it was a "quick" help and she was generally comfortable in the surrounding area (like busy or lit environment all on the way). OR if something was said about a common friend, which made her lower her guard. Anyway, just some quick thoughts.
Coming from a father that served in the Vietnam war as a dog handler, then k9 unit, swat team, bomb squad , and then undercover .. I've been trained to understand such crimes. As well as being assaulted at 5! I knew how to fight back! I know its MOO but within my soul I know she fought back Yes she may have said hey if he said hey to her , but in no way did she ask for this. Iy has a evil soul, he didn't care just saw opportunities to do something. It is scarier than that. It would not have been necessary for her to extend any kindness other than taking the time to respond to a single overture. Taking the time to say the words "Im sorry, I really have to get going" can allow someone to close a surprising amount of distance. Once they are close enough, your options have become critically limited. It is hard enough to get adults to internalize this, much less young people whose brains have not fully developed risk analysis.
MOO IY saw a opportunity when he saw her in the gas station. He confronted her when she exited, and he took her then.
So dead before 2nd gas station?MOO too.... once in the car she fought back and he killed her.
Just to clarify, I am in no way implying that anyone asked for anything. Criminals are far more practiced at committing crimes than the average innocent person is at preventing them.Coming from a father that served in the Vietnam war as a dog handler, then k9 unit, swat team, bomb squad , and then undercover .. Can you share the “much more” now?I knew way back when they found her car that she was shot - through a confidential person. And much more. Just couldn't put it on here, but I did share with a few of you privately.
