FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On January 31, 2026, the Mobile Country Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a residence in the 9000 Block of Ben Hamilton Road in reference to the suspicious disappearance of a mother and two children. The mother has been identified as AURELIA CHOC CAC, 40 years old, black hair, 5 ft, 140 pounds and last seen wearing maroon jacket with tan joggers. The children are a girl, NIURKA ZULETA CHOC, 17 years old, black hair, 5’1, 100 pounds and was last seen wearing black top, plaid pants. The son is ANTHONY GARCIA CHOC, 2 years old, 30 pounds, black hair, and last seen wearing a cartoon character hoodie with blue jeans.
The family of three were last seen yesterday around 3:00 pm at their residence. Upon further investigation into the matter, there were signs of a struggle that occurred inside said residence.
A person of interest is a hispanic male, JUAN ANTONIO GARCIA, DOB - 6/14/94, 30 years of age who has ties to Amarillo, Texas.
If anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of persons listed above, please contact the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office 251-574-8633. We do believe the mother, daughter and son were taken against their will and we believe they could be in danger.
