Good posts. Hope you get over that flu soon.
I think there's a 25% chance Brittney's alive with a 75% chance she's deceased.
Those letters made me think she was, most likely, in danger.
Yet, I still cling to the that 25% of hope that she took off.
Thank you.
o/t but I swear this flu is some (dur this is obvious) seriously crap. I knew something was wrong the 2nd day I didn't feel well. I went to urgent care and BAM! I tested positive for h1n1. If I hadn't caught it within 48 hours, then they would have treated the symptoms but the med I was given would have done no good. It's miserable on medication, I can't fathom without it. Get your flu shot and make sure it has the h1n1 vaccine!
okay.. back on topic.
If Brittney had been RSW or hell, even Wendy - I could see why she would be murdered. Since we don't know why she was the golden nugget, it is now hard to fathom why she was singled out.
We know that nothing Chessie has said is true. We know that she knew and has known. Her statement about "calling the police" if she wasn't home the next day, imo, says it all.
Let it all sink in. Chessie told the 1st version of Brittney going missing. In that story Brittney was going to a friends house. She packed a tote, her straightener, wore flip flops and left on foot.
Now, if this is the truth (which it isn't) why would she *think* to call the cops the next day about her daughter? She was just going to a friends house, nothing more and nothing less. No big deal. Why are the cops needed if she's not back?
Then it came out she and Chessie got into a spat about watching the siblings.
Then it came out that Brittney had contacted her ex (the childs father) asking for a ride/wanting to get away and he couldn't - so she said she would call Donald.
Then it came out that Chessie knew Brittney was with Donald or in the least, going to confront him.
Do you know what I think? Chessie doesn't really remember what the hell all happened that day. She has a lil' substance abuse issue and I think that's been proven. When we first encountered her, she was disheveled (now we know she just always looks that way) but she slurred her speech. Most of us spoke about that but assumed it's because she's grieving /freaking out and a Dr has her on sedatives. Well, it's more probable that she was self medicating and Im just assuming here, but ... with all the Rx pills floating around in this tribe - Chessie being loopy on xanax / pain killer cocktail isn't exactly far fetched.
If she was on that combo that day, got into it with Brittney about who knows what (I can't see those two getting along well) and took off, as in Chessie left the house.. Then she wouldn't know what Brittney was wearing, hence the back n' forth about the color of things. Combine that with being on drugs, things get a tad foggy and days blend. We have noted that Chessie blends some pretty vital days. So I don't think I'm far off in the assumption here.
And lets remember Paul and why he missed Brittney. Remember why he missed her? Because of the way she looked. *paraphrased but it's taken from the video where TJ,Chessie and Paul talked to Andrew Perez and Chessie was discussing why she won't take a polygraph.
Tell me that man ain't a creep! who the hell says that? He had a glimmer in his eyes.
I think whatever happened that day to her was due to the actions or interaction between Chessie and Brittney. I do not think Chessie ever watched Brittney leave the yard, there's some weird focal point with Chessie and that damn yard. Seems like when she's telling the story(ies) that she doesn't put the "um" before anything to do with the yard, because she's not lying.
I think Chessie set into action whatever or wherever brittney is, by her big mouth and need for chaos and drama. Whether that was calling Wendy and complaining and gossiping about what so and so said or told Brittney through fb. Or something just as flippant that went really wrong.
Chessie behaves guilty of SOMETHING. If I believed for a second that she cared about her older 3 children, I would say that the guilt on her face was from the crappy parenting and guiding. That's not it though, she's always found a way to blame her daughter for something.
