Thanks again for the compliments. I really appreciate them.

I'm really liking all the theories that include BW being alive. I had little hope of that, but now see a slight chance.

I had been told there would be a search today with cadaver dogs in the area surrounding the cell tower in Grand Bay where her phone last pinged. However, an update by KlaasKids sounds like it's more like the door to door that's been done lately, passing out flyers. The post is on the Hometown Search fb page.

Well I haven't read that he shot himself in his car. So now I'm wondering why she said she drove him around places if he had his car. And why shoot yourself all cramped up in a car , there was his place and the whole outdoors. Is it hard to shot yourself with a shotgun in a car ? How do we know it was even suicide?
And why would they think only her cell phone went to styx river, like someone took her somewhere and killed her then keep her phone? Since it was pinged at Styx river it would still implicate DH IMO.

It seems to me she was trying to establish an alibi for departed Hubby!

Why would you need an alibi for someone who's dead tho, can't figure that out?.if my husband did horrible things then killed himself, I think I would just let the cards fall where they did and just let people know it was all on him and not anything I did. But maybe that's just me, I'd be done with when the police said they were investigating

LE is almost always out of their element in missing persons cases, even without the added complications of this one...there just doesn't seem to be an effective way to go about finding people in any jurisdiction, IMO.

To tell you the truth how can ya find ppl unless someone tells where they left them? Its like finding a needle in a hay stack.
Sure you look and look but its next to impossible to guess where the scumm left them!

Usually these missing cases are found by ppl walking in the woods years later and stumble across some bones...

But wouldn't the way to save face is to disassociate yourself from him after the crimes he was being questioned about. And not put yourself in the middle of the mess, why? Is she scared for him being found out. He's dead. Maybe there is something more we don't know about

Hey, Eileen, just wanted to let you know we've been asked not to sleuth "victims"' and pretty much anyone except the deceased and the 2 arrested uncles. I'm not in disagreement with you at all, but we need to be careful in accusing the wives of illegal activity.

Most definately!
but these women seemed to stand by their men!
Why I dont know but WWH went out of her way to say she was with him that night...Her and the boys!

Thanks for that link, very interesting stuff. Confirmation that DH *was* being investigated for sexual abuse at the time of his death. (Zeaux said this already)

WHO hasn't been forthcoming with information from the family.
When did they last hear from Brittney and HOW- text, call etc and WHAT was said.

I hope she is in fact hiding out which I think her brother believes judging by some of the comments.

The only thing I know is they did get her phone records and she placed some calls after leaving her mom's house. One of the people she called is one of the people listed in the list of 'characters'. I'm not allowed to say who, because there is an investigation going on. But that person apparently failed to divulge this information.

I really don't know anymore. I am thinking there's a possibility her disappearance is unrelated to the sex abuse cases and might be related to drug connections. In which case, she might be alive.
