I know BW's family reads here sometimes and would hate for them to stumble across a news article about a body being found (since the identifying features were removed from the MSM articles).

I wish that we could decode LE's statement about them having evidence or "reason to believe" that BW was in the Grand Bay area during the time that DH was committing suicide, especially since we only know that her phone was in the Styx River area on the morning of the 31st and then an hour or so later was located in the Grand Bay area. DH didn’t commit suicide until the first of June, over 24 hours later. If she was travelling down the interstate in either direction she could have been hundreds of miles away from this entire area by then, and that’s under the assumption that she was in possession of her phone. Ofcourse this is my observation based, in part, on what others here have said or posted so it could be flawed and is subject to scrutiny.

Last word on this--I took all possibly-KB-related posts from the past few pages to her thread, then closed them for viewing on this thread to maintain focus.

I posted the following in Kelli's thread so sleuthers there would understand why new posts were showing up & would understand that their fellow sleuthers were looking out for them:

Nope. Obviously there is more to this than we all know.

"Tip of the iceberg" was LE's quote. That leads me to believe the FBI is involved in the men's cases, which may mean they are indirectly involved in Brittney's case.

Maybe the 'victim'(s) only ratted out DH but not the others? It could be they were pressured by some family members or even by DH himself not to do it..Once DH was out of the picture=not gonna ever pay for what he did they decided to open the whole 'can of worms'..Or someone else that knew about it or was even a witness (Brit?) got them to report it or she did it for them..If DH was really her fav 'uncle' she had to be ticked off the other 2 'uncles' were gonna get away with it..And if DH killed himself over this that would make Brit even more likely to want to see the others punished..I can see this scenario playing out but there are a few problems with it..One is it would be after DH killed himself that Friday am & where was Brit at that time? Was she really in GB? Would she really let on to the other 'uncles' that they were turned in to LE? I don't see it but they may have found out some other way & she was none the wiser.

This may be OUT there but I'm desperately searching for a motive (threats?) that would force her to disappear on her own..Or did someone else want to make sure she wasn't able to participate in the investigation/prosecution? Nothing has shown me that either DK or RSW were ever under scrutiny by LE the way DH was in the last 4 months..There was that comment by RSW but nothing from LE about it & as far as we know he wasn't due to meet with LE like DH was..It could be he was waiting for the other 'shoe to drop' just cos he knew what he had done and/or he was worried DH would rat him out at some point..I dunno, it's just one more possible explanation/theory to throw out there.

As I stated in my first post, my parents live around the corner from where BW's mother lives and possibly closer to where she was going. They live off Travis Road. My family and I travel to their house many times over the course of a month and I have not seen the first poster or flier at any business or location in that area. That is not to say that there arent any but that I havent seen any. If someone can tell me exactly where to get some fliers or posters then I will gladly go to area businesses and ask to place them in the windows.

Ya know maybe something happend to someone and these three men were present and accounted for at the time....I would think they would arrest them all till thy found out exactly what happend...Im sure its a she said he says kind of thing and im sure they are all saying they are innocent but i have to guess Donnie wasnt!

I think Uncle Donnie was in the middle of a full blown Mid Life crisis...
If he was doing any kind of drugs and drinking and he thought he was the cats meow he probably got himself into big trouble. big guy on a harley!

If you ever watch the jersey Shore they invite the familys for a weekend to be with the kids there are a few Uncles on there always hugging these girls in their bikinis and in the hot tub with them and its not right but its right there and the girls ar all laughing!

I will go ahead and skip over any reason one might have for watching any of those Jersey shows-lol. BUT, did you ever think that maybe the girls are laughing because they are getting PAID? "Laughing all the way to the bank" Not insulting you at all, I just wanted to mention because some people here don't seem to get that whole money/drugs/alcohol changing a persons attitude.
PS-i watch Dance Moms so it's not like I am trying to be uppitty or anything.

Correction... Poster stated possible meanings of M and F are Misdemeanor and Felony, respectively.

Was the following conflicting information given by the same person (DH's wife)? Is it possible to update the timeline with initials or was it asked that they be removed?

06/04/12 @ 05:39 PM - Someone posts – Last time anyone seen her was wed. But I looked at DH's phone he talked to her Thursday night around 7 .

06/07/12 @ 10:23 PM - Someone posts - No she was not there Thursday. All they would give me about her phone was the last call was wed. Around 7 to DH. Last text was around 7 wed. To some other number so she hasnt had any contact with anyone after wed.

The drug involvement seems to have muffled the locals.

I’m going to go a bit beyond my previous post re my thoughts on the lack of media coverage in this case. (Note that I am an outsider looking in and can rely only on what I read and view on the internet. Plus, I have no personal knowledge about that part of the country.)

I think the APPEARANCE of the family not compellingly sticking their necks out, publicly organizing group searches, doing all they can do and which we have seen in other cases, ALONG WITH the drug involvement, ALONG WITH the ick factor of rape, sodomy and incest, ALONG WITH a suicide that APPEARS sketchy and following BW’s disappearance has set a tone for other locals.

I believe that tone has said loudly and clearly that it’s not safe to get involved/stick your neck out in this one.

The appearance of that tone of questionable safety is what I think the family / close friends are challenged to change in order to get more local help and thus regular local media coverage. The divided family on the search for BW isn’t helping either.

To the locals and those familiar with the area: does this assessment ring true? Why? Why not? Thanks.

Good Morn everyone.....

I am still trying to get my head around if we are talking about 1 victim of these guys, or multiple young relatives.

I think what confuses me is that here in Australia when someone is charged with incest of a juvenille, their name is repressed from any news as it can identify the victim.

I can not beleive what I am about to type.......but what does the charge of incest cover...with that I mean is what relatives does it cover.

This is awful, but if someone can answer that for me I think we can work out who the young juvenille was who went to the police....

Now what confuses me is that I am assuming once the young one went to the police this started the 4 month investigation and RSW & DK were charged and DH was also to be charged and killed himself. If this is correct then there is one victim and the wives etc are getting their knickers in a knot and saying their hubbies were innocent and this child must be lying.

HOWEVER I have read on another site......and this was posted by a local but is definitely rumor........that DH was to be charged with rape, sodomy and the "I" charge as well.

That is why I ask who the yuk eek charge of incest covers. Because this would mean if DK was not charged with incest, then we have 2 victims as if it was only one victim then DH would be related by marriage to that victim, same as DK who wasnt charged with the incest charge.

What is everyone thinking? Do you think this all relates to one poor little child or is a 'keep it in the family" type ring?

If it involves more than one, then I think BW may have also been a victim of at least DH.....if they have crossed the line at that level, then I really dont see how he/they would have resisted.

If this is the case then he has killed her, maybe so she wouldnt speak to the police and make his case l oook extra bad (not that it could get much worse)or may be self disguist.

She may have also left town never wanting to return knowing what was coming for these guys and maybe her name being involved.

Just my opinions and questions and thoughts...........this really is awful and sad

This is all so horrible. I wish LE would go back to square one and do a more extensive search around the Styx River area. There needs to be another search there with more people, more dogs, ATVs. They should recruit volunteer hunters and recreational fishermen to go out and search the woods and water there. I think they need to publicize a photo of DH's motorcycle and solicit any info. of sightings of him or his motorcycle in the Tillman's Corner area near the time that BW left her mom's home. MOO - if no one has come forward to admit to giving BW a ride that evening, then DH picked her up and my guess is that he did so on the motorcycle. I wish we knew if he had access to a vehicle that evening and night. If he only had his motorcycle and he harmed BW that night, then BW may be in the Styx River area even now. I wonder if LE did any forensics on the motorcycle.

Edit to say: I trust LE is doing what needs to be done.

I think all of us who are keeping up with the case are probably getting certain images in our minds by now. It's hard not to. I have certain things in my mind. They don't involve water though. Just so you will know, there is water EVERYWHERE around here. Her phone last pinged in Styx River, DH lives in Fairhope which is right on Mobile Bay, DH killed himself near Fish River, Baldwin and Mobile Counties are separated by Mobile Bay (can't get to one from the other without crossing that bay) and Grand Bay is on the water. I myself am currently fixated on the motorcycle, and that has nothing to do with psychic abilities.

Everyone has their own take on things. I'm totally into the weather and how we react to it's changes. I checked the weather that day, it's interesting to note that about the time that Brittney was getting ready to head out, the barometric pressure dropped to it's lowest point that day and the wind changed direction. All day there was a steady south wind. Then about 6 pm the barometer falls and the wind dies down, changing to the north.

7:30 that evening Brittney walks out of her house heading to Uncle Donnie's.

The wind remains calm until 11 that night when it picks up a bit and the temperature cools down. Brittney's phone moves from Styx river to Grand Bay. MSM says Donnie gave her a ride.
