Holy heck. So now her brother was arrested? Jesus omg this family desperately needs divine intervention for crying out loud.

If Brittney is deceased, I hope she is at peace.

If she's alive, I'm sort of thinking it might be in her best interest to never return, change her name, break the pattern of negative surrounding this family, and grow her own lovely future.

Is there an end to this madness? I cannot imagine what Chessie is going through right now, or her ex as well. My gosh I feel terrible for this family!

So he's been arrested for incest/rape/sodomy too? WTH is going on? This is the strangest case ever. Does everyone think this is all the same victim? I never ever thought Brittney was THE VICTIM but this really has me wondering. Something is really really strange here. Was there some type of gang rape that happened?

This is so troubling.
Poor Brittney. With a family like that, no wonder she ended up escaping via drug use. Now I am hoping she is clean & sober and got the heck out of dodge to get away from them all.
I am conflicted between the following scenarios:
A) Brittney left on her own - she just couldn't take being around a family where it seems like every man but her father is involved in incest & rape of children anymore
B) Brittney knew something & was afraid she'd be charged in connection to the case (maybe bringing Donnie the gun? maybe she thought they were actually investiagting drugs? I am just speculating as to why). She's hiding somewhere.
C) Brittney knew something & someone in the family killed her to keep her from testifying
D) Brittney left to go meet up and party with someone unrelated to the family and ODed; they freaked out and hid her body somewhere I am really hoping choice A is what's going on.

I also find it very troubling, complex and confusing.
I can imagine a seriously scared 19 year old, or indeed an adult, going as far away as possible from a threatening situation and not feeling secure enough to return or even make contact. It does stretch the imagination beyond belief and in my opinion the most likely scenario, unfortunately for Brittney, is that something happened to her in the early hours of the morning she disappeared. Moving the search from the Styx River area to Grand Bay due to new information revealed from cell phone records was an unexpected development at the time, IMO based on the information available to the public. Very little news has been published since then.

"Baldwin County Sheriff's deputies arrested Derek Wood Friday night on sex charges. He's the brother of missing teen Brittney Wood.

FOX10 has tried to get in touch with the sheriff's office about the arrest but has not yet received a response."

It appears someone close to Brittney is sharing info with LE, and that's led to the investigation of four close relatives. These arrests aren't just random haps, I think it's all connected.

Hello...I've been following this case, although this is my first post ever, and find it somewhat hopeful that Zeaux has not provided any updates in quite some time. As an insider, perhaps she's been instructed to stay quiet....hopefully, because BW is in hiding as the case unravels.
Also, per BW's facebook page, she has 2 new friends added in July, but she's been missing well before July. Hopefully this is another indication that she's in hiding.
