Authorities also said bits and pieces of the sexual abuse investigation is connected to Brittney Wood, and bits and pieces are not.

I wish LE would issue some sort of statement regarding Brittney's disappearance and their feelings on it now. They sure didn't have a problem stating early on that there was no connection and that Brittney probably left on her own. (I'm paraphrasing here.. don't shoot) It's been months now!!! I don't think they feel the same way now, so come on LE!! Speak out about this and maybe more people will come forward!!!!!!

Didn't she go missing in very close proximity to his suicide? I haven't read here in a while. Some thought she may have went missing right after he killed himself.

I didn't think you were trying to imply anything, I just didn't understand.

BBMYes, it was kind of close to call whether DH Sr. killed himself right after Brittney went missing or if he disposed of the body and covered his tracks and THEN put a bullet in his head...I'm sorry but I have felt all along that Brittney was dead - either by accidental drug overdose or at the hands of her "favorite" uncle - and more than one relative was involved and helped dispose of her body. MOO

FINALLY!! Too bad it took LE so long. I just pray that people will finally start talking and that Brittney will be found so her daughter will not have to grow up never knowing what happened to her mother. lease:MOO

So glad they got her. Her mugshot just goes to show what a cold hearted *enter word of choice* that she is.

My thoughts are with her victims, they are extremely courageous for standing up and saying what has happened to them. I just hope they get the justice they deserve!

I feel absolutely sick and even more discouraged about finding Brittney alive. It's only WWH's word that Brittney called to come visit. What if WWH had other plans? All those deleted phone transmissions, etc...

I wish I had something profound to add except that I'm amazed...and floored...and not surprised all at the same time. She must have been an accomplice to her husband (and others) in most if not all of his sex crimes.

Through the media comment grapevine, it was said that the twins lived with Donnie's family when they were very young because they were removed from their home. Add in how much older Donnie is than the twins, along with their obviously rough upbringing...throw in a cup of deranged pedophile who's great at manipulating everyone around him (because he's such a "great and funny guy!") and you have a recipe for disaster. I'm sure he did some terrible things to the twins when they were young and in his home, if that rumor is indeed true. I'm sure at a young age, it's easy to get a nasty case of Stockholm Syndrome.

ETA: If WWH was indeed an accomplice to ALL of these crimes, shouldn't she also be charged with incest?
