Somebody knows what happened to Brittney. Shame on them for not coming forward yet.

It is never too late to make amends.

Keeping Brittney in my prayers and that this nightmare will truly end soon and justice will be served:jail:

The case that brought me to Brittney (Jaren) has had movement today, so I am hoping there's movement for Brittney.

We need to get some actual trials going. Something to turn up the heat.

So does anybody know if there are any more searches being planned? Is KK going to be looking still? Does anybody besides us and brittneys real family care? I will never give up on brittney even if its 20 years down the road i will never forget!

Team Brittney is in the process of planning another search. Due to the safety of the searchers, the nature of the search, and the location of the search, we feel it is in the best interest of all that it remain private at this time.

Britt's stepmother Steph, is dedicated 100% to finding Brittney and will continue to be until she is found and justice is served.
KK is still involved and active in the case.

It was the same way for me, her and Mickey. RIP to such beautiful young ladies with so much LIFE ahead.
I was speaking to a detective friend in the 8th precinct of NOPD and one in the 4th Precint in the past week and they both issued me the same exact warning: there is starting to be a huge problem with young women "disappearing" in the Big Easy, along with sex trafficking. One said he speculates that it has to do with the rise of Backpage and the availability of women that predators believe are disposable- nobody would care if they are missing. NOBODY IS DISPOSABLE! we shouldn't care if they are the CEO of a multinational company or yourncommonnstripper: they are still humans.
I happen to enjoy going out at night but I have cut it down and wIl only go if a male is accompanying me and my friends. Fiancé's rule.
It's coming up on a year very soon that Brittney has been missing and I hate to admit this but I have lost mostly all hope of anything but JUSTICE and healing.
Jmo, as always :)

NOLA is dangerous for the sex trade, period. It's a big "hub" for trafficking and also for girls to work. I'm a sex worker, sadly NOLA has been a "warning" for a long while. No one would pay attention to missing "associates" and rapes or beat downs have now started to rise. Also heroin is on a very freakish rise too. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk about this. I don't want to go far off topic here :)

This is the first time I have ever 'bumped' a thread. I will never forget my first bump was for Brittney!

Brittney, you're loved by many people who have never even met you.

Hopefully with all these storms coming and going it will help bring new clues into finding brittney. I still have hope as always though that brittney is safe warm and happy somewhere.

Just to talk about something on here and maybe bring back old memories of msm stories, just from recall...i don't necessarily want links unless mods do :) just wanted to talk lol

Who would everyone consider to be the 1st p.o.i.?
What was the first motive that you heard for the disappearance?
What was your first theory and has it changed a lot????

What a good idea, StaceyMarie!

I thought Uncle Donnie was the 1st poi, simply because he had suicided, and she was missing, and he was the last person reported to have seen her..
Early on, the police seemed to be saying that she was missing by choice, and I hoped this was true, perhaps her life had just become too difficult? I don't think I ever really did more than hope that this was so though. Dark thoughts of some sort of sexual abuse and murder, followed by the uncle suiciding in shame and remorse played heavily on my mind early on.
The revelations about the investigations of the Uncle, and then multiple members of the family that followed, for the sexual abuse and endangerment of more than one child have been deeply troubling. I have felt concerned about the apparent lack of effort, (for want of a better word), that some family members, as well as local LE, seem to have put in to investigating the loss of Brittney. I feel convinced that, whatever has become of Brittney, more than one person knows about it, and that some people who should have her welfare upmost in their minds do not, for reasons of their own.

I hope, hope, hope, that Brittney is "out there" somewhere, but there are so many reasons to think this is not so.

I feel really sad that she has had such a tough time of it in her short life, and would love to be able to tell her how much she DOES MATTER.

Fox 10 News in Mobile will air a special on Brittney's case Monday night at 9:00 pm. I'll try to find their link in just a minute. Sounds like new info!!! One thing I just heard is that her phone and phone battery were found in DH's truck (going to double check that), which is something I had never heard before.

Correction: cell phone battery was found, not cell phone

Edit to add: Cannot find a link; will keep trying.
