First time poster. This case interests me as I don't live far from that area. I keep wondering how prepared they had to be due to no gas station sightings. I thought surely by now someone would have spotted them, especially considering his height.
Welcome to Websleuths!

Deer season has been over in Bama for a while. Turkey season ended April 30. Lots of hunting camps in back woods not being used right now. Great places to hide. I would be interested to know if her ex or anyone she worked with has land they hunt. Plus with that AR and rifle they could supplement food with a deer or other critter. Fish. Etc. I know—I sound like a renegade episode of Naked and Afraid lol.

Much of our state is rural, especially where they were located. If she actually drove to visit him in Bessemer then it was at least a 3 hour drive each way. Bessemer is just outside Birmingham. As someone else suggested maybe she visited via video.

This makes me want to go back to college and major in Forensic Psychology!!

I sincerely don’t understand what would be the point of getting vax cards?
Travel. You can't get into most countries without a covid vax card.

Me either, Unless they’re needed to cross the border, but no one has asked to see mine in my everyday life.

This is kind of what I was thinking. They weren’t taking guns to shoot humans, but if they’re living in the wilderness they’re going to need to protect themselves from whatever wants to eat them lol.

I've only been asked a couple of times. And that was before boarding a flight from the US to the UK with transfer to Germany. And both the UK (London Heathrow) and Frankfort, Germany asked for it. Never been asked for one in the actual US, except for my job in healthcare, which I had to turn in to HR (healthcare worker). jmo

But you don't need an AK47 to shoot a wild boar or your dinner.

Many cities are requiring them to enter facilities and Canada is requiring them too. I'm thinking of border crossings. JMO

I know some larger events, like concerts, have been asking for vax cards, as well as certain bars and restaurants in some cities such as NYC. I have only had to show mine for events and never for travel, although I haven't been out of the country since the pandemic. I did take a flight from Seattle to Las Vegas and did not have to show my vax card at any point for travel or in Vegas at all.

They will not get across the Canadian border with their accents or guns so best be looking south.

They either need to hide or blend in. I think they need to hide for quite a while.

The heat is on!!!

Welcome @answersintime I don't know however, I think this was planned for some time considering the sale of her home, moving into her moms buying a car etc etc. Seeing as she is in LE she could have mapped out a whole thing knowing where the camera's are, where to stay and so on. Personally, I don't think they are in that car. I pray she is still alive no matter what involvement she has. We have a hard criminal who sucked since he was caught and a woman who isn't/wasn't a criminal try and pull this off. They will be caught. I pray there isn't more damage. IMO

This is kind of what I was thinking. They weren’t taking guns to shoot humans, but if they’re living in the wilderness they’re going to need to protect themselves from whatever wants to eat them lol.
I wish I had your optimism. He's a murderer and she's with him. I'm not feeling confident that they're shooting squirrels, deer or trout at this rate. IMO

How can she access any retirement benefits? I believe they are directly deposited and all of her banks have to be on high alert for her accessing her accounts. JMO

Every year, it seems we get a manhunt case which prompts me to log in to WebSleuths; last year, it was the teens in Canada. Now, this particular case has piqued my interest.

I haven't read through the entire thread (I will do that once I've posted) but a few thoughts:

1) This case so reminds me of the Clinton Correctional Institution manhunt a few years ago with Matt and Sweat...and the female staff member who helped them escape

2) Someone who is 6'9" will stick out like a sore thumb. I mean, you cannot hide extreme height!

3) If Vicky White purposely helped Casey White escape, she is in danger. Living the lifestyle she did, she had been able to save potentially a LOT of money...plus the sale of her home. I could envision a scenario where, while on the run, it didn't take long or take much for Casey White to commandeer Vicky's service weapon and get rid of her quickly once they were on the run; she would be dead weight and hinder his escape.

Maybe, forcing her at gunpoint to withdraw funds...then when he'd gotten all he could from her, either abandoning her on the side of the road somewhere -- or worse. Casey White is already facing a potential death penalty charge and has nothing to lose.

4) As to where they could be going...I suspect they did NOT go to the beach, although that was what Vicky White wanted to do, according to those who knew her; they would be trapped, if they did so. It makes more sense that they would have traveled north, where more options for travel and escape existed.

I will be fascinated to follow this thread on WebSleuths...and to see how this whole thing plays out.
