Due to the spray paint I think maybe she just picked a really stupid color for a getaway car and CW was like “You dumb blonde are you serious” so she tried to spray paint it and then was like nope…. So maybe she dropped off CW to steal a car and then had him pick her up on the deserted road. Because again, why would they break down on that deserted road? CW has stolen cars before so he probably did it quickly and easily.

I’m not sure about his car-stealing skills—weren’t the previous ones carjackings? But I’m glad that there’s no talk of a missing car-owner. That’s what I’ve worried about.

Please! Not wanted in Missouri. That’s where I am. But Lake of the Ozarks would be a great hiding place.
Wow Becky you live in a beautiful place! I know I thought about it driving home from work now and it really would!! Quite accessible from the location of the edge too.

The Minnesota/Canada water still has ice.
We discussed other forms of land travel; not water. But at Windsor and other locations, there is also no ice.

I’m telling you guys, you have to buy this game. Lol. I don’t benefit at all from it but the gameplay is exactly the cat-and-mouse we are doing on this forum. Moderator please delete if not allowed. I grew up playing this game and the spread out clues from this case are exactly the gameplay of this game lol. Again, I don’t benefit from this link.

Here in the Midwest there is miles of farm country. Abandoned buildings as far as the eye can see.;) But yes, we did discuss earlier in the thread that there are methods of crossing into Canada that draw less scrutiny than driving your car across.

From what I remember reading about the Hell's Angels and other motorcycle gangs who control the drug trade in Canada, they tended to move the product across the border into Canada by having someone meet them along the border in northern Minnesota or North Dakota. They'd avoid Washington state border crossings and not deal with the great lakes and the waterways to the east.

This isn't very far from the Tn location. Can't wait to learn more about this. But if they abandoned this car a few hours after the Ford Edge then they have still days ahead of LE. So now we wait for the Where and When...
They probably underestimated the time they actually had after escaping and after abandoning the Ford Edge. Timing has been on their side, yet they had to behave as if they had less time. JMO

I would be very interested to know exactly where and when the vehicle was reported stolen in relation to where the orange Ford Edge was abandoned.

I wonder if it could have actually been stolen from the same parking lot (or nearby) as the orange ford. That way he could have picked her up when she deserted the first.

I agree it's pretty standard so I'm assuming it's been done. Did I miss something saying that LE didn't dust the vehicle for prints? Honestly I've been unable to keep up here at times. Life gets in the way lol.

You didn't miss anything.......... because we have heard nothing...
That is why we are all spending sooooo much time speculating. We really have had zero facts to discuss.

From my post and the link upthread:
The vehicle was reported stolen after the Edge was found abandoned in Tennessee on April 29, just hours after Casey White and Vicky White left the Lauderdale County Detention Center.

Hopefully there were cameras around at the place it was stolen in TN and where it was found in Indiana.

But the vehicle was stolen from Tennessee.
My point was that the article—only article I’ve seen, anyway—doesn’t give us any clue as to when they abandoned the new car.

Patrol car: abandoned in Alabama, April 29th. (Parking lot, about 9 minutes drive from jail. Abandoned before 11:00 am.

Orange Edge, driven from that vicinity, and abandoned on a rural road in Tennessee, circa 3:00 pm, April 29th also.

Vehicle, description unknown, stolen from some place ‘near’ where the Edge was abandoned. Date that it was stolen not given, but presumably April 29th.
Abandoned in Indians—date that it was abandoned not given.

All this MOO

I know we can't discuss police scanners on the main thread, but I think now would be a good time to hop on the Evansville PD scanner.

They have a history of avoiding cameras so I wouldn’t count on it.

Yeah. He wouldn’t have to speak though. And brief phrases like “Thank you” would be ok. Amish often have German accents.

I don’t really think they will go Amish though lol. But with the burly German genetics of the Amish I do think Casey would look fairly convincing in a farmer’s outfit for hiding purposes, if that were to ever cross their mind.
I agree that physically, they could blend in with the Amish. And that type of community would benefit them, since very strict Amish don't watch TV and may know nothing about them. All outsiders are just called "the English" and the Amish typically don't get involved with the outside world. And no one would be snapping their picture since it's not allowed.

But I don't know, I just don't feel it. He needs his drugs and he has a violent nature. Can't picture him farming and all that.
