Am I the only one who thinks CW shot VW after hearing the audio? MO

I am trying to decipher what CW possibly said around 28 seconds into the audio. I swear he says "phone" or "road" and then a bang and Vicky shrieking like "ayyeee" and then "ooohh"

The first thing I hear her say is ”the airbags are going to kill us”. Then somewhere close after she says “let’s get out and run.”

Two things: In the case of suicide did she prefer the gun over the airbags at that moment? And second, clearly she isn’t in her right mind to think they have any chance of running without being caught.
I think she was both in shock and conflicted. Didn’t want to get killed by airbags but willing to die by suicide if they were surrounded.

Yes, getting out and running would have been put an end to by police within minutes. She obviously wasn’t thinking clearly.

With regard to “back to the fn hotel” it was too late for that. They were clearly caught off guard.

It's possible that her name was "April Victoria (Davis) White" or something like that.

I did read (don't remember where) that she had been married, and her husband died a few years ago after a long illness, and she just wasn't "right" afterwards (not uncommon, but people don't usually do things like this). IDK if they had any children.

Or April Victoria Susan Davis White. Perfectly possible! (I believe Sue was her middle name.)

She had been married. Divorced from her husband many years ago. There’s two timelines in MSM about that. She evidently stayed on friendly terms with her ex-husband, and he died in January of this year.

No children.

I had thought of that, definitely yes, but:

1. Coroner has declared manner of death to be Suicide

2. Gun was firmly in her clenched hand with finger on trigger— they had to pry it out as viewed on the bodycam footage. It wasn’t placed there.

3. Whatever else he is, I think CW was sincere when he said, “Please help my wife, she’s shot herself”, and later said that she’d planned on that if they were caught.

Let’s say the passenger side is in the ditch. He would have had to crawl over her to get out if he was driving?

MOO MOO MOO

I transcribed the 911 dispatch radio released Monday into the basement and am just now transcribing the newly-released full 7min 20sec 911 audio. I am no further caught up than when this new audio was released today/discussed here so if any of my assertions are misguided, please let me know. I have some thoughts after reviewing just the first 45 seconds of this audio. MOO

1. I'm unsure if this is the raw audio. At 00:05-00:07 00:17-00:22 it's possible VW saying "f*cking" was edited out.

2. I am 99.9999% certain I hear 3 voices between 00:26 and 00:30. I cannot make out what CW is possibly saying. My ears are hearing:

...so... clearly not definitive. Would really love other thoughts.

3. I will post the 45 seconds of transcription into the basement right now (link above) and will try to transcribe the remainder later this evening.
I've listened to a few and it is indeed confusing with alot of illegible garble to me. I wonder if his comments that you heard along the lines of "is that your phone, etc." were because no one in their vehicle dialed 911. Somehow it was triggered by an impact - either to OnStar that then dialed 911 when no one responded or by a phone or watch, also triggered by the first hit. Kinda ironic that those evading police didn't realize they had a device that may call them directly at some point, assuming that's what happened here.

Sorry to butt in, but where did you get this alias from?

The gun was in her hand when she was extricated fromt the car by LE, and the coroner has ruled that it was a self-inflected gunshot wound that killed her.

So far I haven't heard any released audio that substantiates that she said she was armed. The only relevant released audio has the dispatcher saying she's armed, not Vicky herself saying it. I think it's possible she accidentally shot herself and if the audio released so far is all the relevant audio, I think the Coroner may have made a mistake due to confusion over this. I'd really like to hear the audio (or maybe there's a LE video that captured it) that directly substantiates this as so far all I'm seeing is hearsay from others who weren't on scene though it's reported that such audio exists. If such audio doesn't exist I guess it's possible that CW could have shot VW, but it seems like she was armed and had her pistol in a deathgrip, so I think it's most likely either accidentally or intentionally she shot herself rather than CW doing it and framing her for suicide.

A sad "sparse" obituary. First mention I've read of her father.
I guess they didn’t want to get into her whole professional history considering the circumstances.

This is an announcement so maybe the family will have a longer obituary.

So her father is living, and she had brothers. Strange that we’ve never heard any statements from them.

You're most likely correct about the age of the vehicle and maybe being before Onstar. Could there be something else in a Cadillac that would trigger a 911 call? Some brands have their own roadside assistance technology.

DH has a car that dings and asks him if he needs a break, and shows a cup of coffee, when and if he hits a bump in the road or moves over too far in the lane. Not sure exactly when technology of this sort began to be incorporated into vehicles.
My 2008 Cadillac has Onstar.

And who’s hands had gunshot residue on them would be simple for LE to determine.

Glad to see that the family will move forward with a service and burial for VW, and are wiling to make the announcement publicly, presumably so that her friends and colleagues can express their condolences with the family.

I hope the crazies stay far away and leave the family and friends alone so that they are able to mourn their loss as they lay VW to rest.

This may help the timeline.

How Alabama inmate, corrections officer evaded police during 11-day escape: Timeline

The story starts well before their escape, dating back to Casey White's imprisonment and a fortuitous meeting with Vicky White.
Fortuitous meeting? No. I would say a fateful meeting. It would have been best if they had never crossed paths. Once they did, luck was never on her side.

OnStar needs to be kept current with a paid subscription though, doesn't it? What year was their Cadillac, and would it still have had a free sub attached to it?
