Here’s another early one that states the police say the surveillance video captured Danniella leaving and that they may have more footage of her but they weren’t willing to discuss that.

Originally statements were made that she was seen later on surveillance in a more "populated place" but that was all LE said.

I think after initial investigations and basic background checks, LE may have decided to stop releasing information to people who ask. They need to rule everyone around her out. I cannot see them giving people unrelated by blood or marriage information. They barely give the parents of missing children any information.

Neither do I. I think it was someone she knew, trying to make it look like she just decided to go away. I was just trying to figure out how they managed to disable the gps.

It's a good idea - it was suggested earlier as well, so it seems possible. But if it was a random person jacking her car with a GPS jammer, why wasn't she found at the gas station. Did another criminal see a lone female at a gas station and abduct her?

Pearl Motors put a series of 3 pictures of the actual DNV vehicle on their website shortly after the disappearance. I have tried to see if the VIN number can be seen but have had no luck in seeing it on any of the 3 pictures posted.

Do you have a link handy?

Just a note that as I have been searching for video on the DNV case tonight I have been finding that many of the links are missing/disconnected. I don't know whether this is deliberate or not but its making the process of doing basic research a challenge. Given what seems to be going on my suggestion is that if you watch a video to save it directly to websleuths if you can. If anyone has a working link to the original 30+ min video of the Chief of Police Press Conf and it can be posted I would appreciate it. Every link I have tracked back to this event seems to be broken so far as I can tell. Thanks!

What?! I thought it was a totally public NAMUS-like page meant to bring awareness to a missing person and not a private gossip club?
It’s JDT’s private organization with selective admin privileges thereby facilitating and controlling the narrative.

I am having bad luck as all the links I seem to have used in the past are no longer working. I will get you the pics though. Give me a few minutes.

Hopefully that means that investigators are more critically evaluating the information that was released.

I am with on you on this. It was my impression that no one was observed getting out of the cars at the Shell Station. If the known attacker used a jammer, they may have been able to disable her GPS without getting in her car.

She could have naively followed them not knowing her GPS was disabled and followed to an unknown hidden location where she was harmed.

My initial thoughts on the GPS was is if it was a GPS Navigation System with a screen, an attacker would want to disable it so she could not see where they were taking her if she were alive. Traveling backwoods at night you may get disoriented and there's no map right on the dash to tell you where you are. BUT posters here have said OnStar can be just a voice, no map. So I don't know.

Also, the video with the friend talking standing next to her car with Danniella’s photo placed in her dashboard is missing. And that guy in the red shirt video. I’ve been trying to find the Chief video since last night. There are more than a couple of different local media links and a couple of organizational links that are also missing.

Police announced a couple of weeks ago that they were out of leads. The camera is too far away, the area is poorly lit, and police do not appear to have any leads on identifying the make and model of Car 3.

I would be very surprised if the CCTV clearly show much more than shadows and light flickers regarding people moving. If someone used a jammer on the GPS, is that normally done with someone sitting the driver's seat? Probably not, so if this was a planned event, Danni got out of the car. If it was an unplanned event, maybe she was pushed out of the way? If this was her idea, there should be footage of people getting out of the car so they could use the jammer.

Is the jammer a wifi scrambler? Pull the chip?

I can't think of any reason for Danni to abandon her decision to get her phone, something that moments earlier was so important she pulled a friend off a freeway to help retrieve it. Her phone was foremost important, and there was no reason for her to abandon her plan and erase her life.

I've read about "Danni was drunk and therefore stupid." We don't know what she drank that night, and since this was not bar hopping, and not a party train, I think we can also reconsider the idea that she was too drunk to look after herself.

Rather than the drugged unfit mother on the bar hopping party train who relinquished custody of her daughter and chose to vanish in her brand new car, maybe we should see the woman who gave birth a month prior to her disappearance. Presumably she was off the bar hopping party train for the previous 10 months. It would be unusual for her to be driving around drunk a month later, especially since she was travelling with someone. Regarding that birth, I don't see any reason to read anything into it until we know it was not surrogacy. If it was surrogacy, it should be private.

There is video of a press conference here (not certain how to imbed it). But, this is just a 12 min PC.

BREAKING: Mobile police will hold a press conference about Danniella Vian

One thought: if it was surrogacy, she would have received significantly more money than if her own child was given up for adoption. The compensation package is more like $50,000-$90,000. Everything is covered and you are fairly compensated for your time and generosity. A young, healthy, fit mother who had successfully given birth before without complications would be very in demand.

I don't know why, but the minute I read that there was a new baby, and enough cash to buy a $10,000 car, I did wonder. Probably err on the side of it might be the case? I mean caution.
