Blue car. Not exactly high on the list of "risk prison" or "exposure" for that car. It looks like there's enough room for a 24 year old 115 lbs 5'5" female to fit in the trunk.

Suppose random car thief sees Danni at the Shell station and decides that's the paper plates car to steal. He has no idea what car his next victim is driving, but he know when he sees Chevrolet that he needs to deal with the GPS.

So why doesn't he leave Danni at the gas station?

I am having bad luck as all the links I seem to have used in the past are no longer working. I will get you the pics though. Give me a few minutes.
You beat me with your magic fingers! Just found them on their FB page. They weren't indexed on google that I saw so you had to search on their FB page directly. How did you find them? I just happened to remember seeing them there but then when I searched on google they didn't return in the search?

Interesting: the reporter asks if they've interviewed her friends, family, and coworkers and if they were cooperating. He says at 6:45, "We've had really good cooperation from most people and not-so-good cooperation from some people."

I remember that, and naturally the first thought is who is not cooperating?

Presumably they are still interviewing all the usual suspects and bringing them in for questioning, even if those who are brought in for questioning think they are there by invitation to question them.

That police have said that some people in Danni's life are "not-so-good cooperation" with police, should we maybe look at those closest to Danni? I'm pretty sure that they don't mean the Shell station employees when they describe "not-so-good cooperation."

Remember also that white mark on the driver side ft door that was mentioned by JDT early in this search process. On the Pearl picture it looks like they tried to highlight the white mark to show that it existed.

White mark on the driver side door?

Is this something that was shown to Danni prior to buying the car, or something that was brought up later? If so, in what context?

Occam's Razor on Danni

Strip out the irrelevant. Whatever you are left with, no matter how improbable, is what happened.

Yes, jammer devices are becoming increasingly popular options. The process to deactivate the GPS/OnStar on the Cruze doesn't look too difficult to do (see videos posted in previous thread or just check on you tube). I am not mechanical at all and did it on my car with no issue in about 10 min by following instructions I found online (do not recommend trying this as resetting it was another thing entirely and I had to go back to dealer for reset which they luckily did free). I am surprised that it took 15 min or so. But maybe the lighting was poor at the station and they had to deal with DNV.

Yes first they had to disable DNV then the GPS.

I would think she saw when she purchased the car as its pretty obvious in the picture and in person would be even more pronounced I think. The context of bringing this up was JDT talking about the car that DNV had purchased and she explaned about the white mark because it was a distinctive feature on the car vs other 2014 Blue Chevy Cruze's. It made sense to mention the mark in case anybody found the car or saw it in a parking lot or lake then they would know it was DNV's car. Pearl picture seems to attempt to highlight the mark so they weren't trying to hide it based on the picture.

This is a tall order @otto but it probably makes sense to do. I recall reading about the cooperation issue and thought Crimestoppers could potentially help. It probably makes sense to see if Crimestoppers can do more to publish their involvement to reach those people that might know something I think.

We sadly know so little about DNV day to day life. Did she belong to a gym? Did she have a favorite coffee shop? She does seems to have a large 'family' of co-workers at PF Changs and Ollies. She has the T and D families in AL. Birth family in NC and NM/KS possibly?

What do you suggest as best avenue to attack?

Yes first they had to disable DNV then the GPS.

Would that imply that the car was the goal and Danni was in the way?

If Danni was the goal, they would not have wasted their time, 16 minutes in full view of a CCTV camera, to disable the car. They would have grabbed her, thrown her in their trunk and driven away. Third option is they're a couple of local clowns who think they outsmart everyone and their only objective on July 17 was to make Danni and her car disappear.

That's not what happened. What happened is that Danni was at the Shell station because she followed a friend there. If she was in any way compliant with disabling her GPS and erasing her life, I need proof.

Danni as a loser who chose to erase her life and happy little family with her daughter in favor of "unfit parent" who smoked pot and couldn't get off the "bar hopping" "party train." She bought a car and disappeared into the sunset after barhopping party train and off the grid until Friday.

Who knows what happened to her between Tuesday and Friday, but she was reported missing on July 20, four days after she disappeared. DW phoned JDT at 7:30AM July 20 and that morning he turned Danni's phone into police. I don't think that Danni is alive.

What happened: She must have driven off with her new car, no reason to pay attention. However, she vanished retrieving her phone at 11:08PM in Mobile AL.

I wanted to make sure I could say which SAR organization it is before doing so. Klaas Kids is who is on standby.

I read upthread that you are a spokesperson for a missing person org and that you are a spokesperson for the disappearance of Danniella Nickole Vian.

Are you affiliated with Klaaskids, or are you just telling us that there is an effort to involve Klasskids with the police department in Mobile?

What sort of activities does your missing person org want to carry out that have not been approved by police? Curious what the "rejection" paperwork says.

Post it here. Social media is powerful.

Someone who would have gained by her disappearance.....financially? emotionally? What other ways, I wonder?

Maybe the fact that she just got a new car made somebody nervous. She has no real ties to AL, friends or family, only has cash, she could hypothetically take her daughter and go out of state. I can see her being hormonal, possibly still dealing with the trauma of giving up a second baby, and maybe mentioning the wrong thing to the wrong person.

Not saying that's what she planned, but it's enough that somebody might have thought that and acted out of desperation.

I just meant the GPS could not be disabled without DNV knowing, meaning they had to incapacitate her in some way in order to disable the GPS. Otherwise they would have to reach past her to get to the fuse box. I believe whoever did this wanted DNV and the car to disappear. If someone reached for my fuse box while I was sitting in the driver seat, a fight would ensue. I am still with you, DNV did not leave voluntarily and carjackers would have left her at the Shell Station.

Edit by me for spelling.

I hated liking this but I have to agree, I do not think DNV is alive and the party/parties involved definitely wanted it to look like she voluntarily disappeared but DW threw a monkey wrench in the plan. It could have been weeks until she was reported. Maybe 3.

This is a possibility. I believe part of the original custody battle it was stated DNV took CT from the grandparents house to an undisclosed location. Someone could be afraid she would do it again and this time she is older, better equipped to care for CT.

How long in Alabama does a birth mother have to decide to not go through with adoption? I read that in some states it is as long as 6 months but could not find the info specific to Alabama. I do t suppose this is really a sleuthable thought since we don’t know anything about the adoption and WS TOS, but when I heard she had recently given birth and allowed the baby to be adopted (very commendable in my eyes) it brought up a few scenarios to me. MOO
1. She changed her mind and had contacted either her attorney who contacted the birth parents and someone decided she’d be better off “gone” than have to try to fight this in court.

2. Similar to scenario 1, she was blackmailing the adoptive parents with taking the child back and, as in scenario 1, they decided to put a stop to it.

3. Involving the birth father. Perhaps he is someone influential who didn’t want to be exposed and killed her for that reason

4. Perhaps birth father was angry about the adoption.

Al these scenarios would involve someone intelligent enough to realize they needed. To make it appear she chose to disappear or able to hire someone to do this for them.

My apologies if these scenarios might have been presented before. I confess I skipped some pages trying to catch up.

It appears in Alabama, the birth mother has 5 days to revoke her consent. Alabama is listed as one of the friendliest adoption states for adoptive parents.
