I attempted to look up information about the water as well. But I know nothing about that sort of mess and I got lost after reading this first paragraphYou ask an interesting question - what would the car look like if it was 30 feet deep for 10 months (July 17, 2018 - May 2019)? I started looking at watershed management reports and flood mitigation draft plans to better understand how that water environment looks.
So far I know that it flows into the Mississippi, there are a number of tributaries the flow into the Bayou Sara. Were floatation devices used to raise the car to avoid disturbing river bed sediment? I doubt there was more than a skeleton.
I'll see what I can find out about water temperature averages and depths. Any thoughts on what is left of a body after that time? There's a decomposition formula based on time and temperature, we just need the temp, then we can figure out what is left of the body - what police have to work with. They have hair, which is good for drug history use. That needs to be ruled out given all the drug talk. Bones in clothing?
Someone posted fantastic a water channel map when we first explored ideas about the car in water. Anyone have the link handy? I think it had water topography too.
Before I go further, can someone please confirm that this is where the car was found. Thanks
