Pelham Police ask for help finding missing man

MISSING PERSON:
Please take a close look at the photo below of Derek Carlington. He was reported missing to our agency over the weekend. He was last seen by family members Friday, July 13th around lunchtime.

At the time, he was wearing a grey shirt, black shorts, and black slides. He drives a 2015 grey Lincoln MKZ with tinted windows. The tag number is JDY912.

Pelham man missing 4 days; investigation ongoing

Derek Carlington, 36, was last seen Friday, July 13, 2018, about lunchtime, according to Pelham police. Friends last spoke to him at that time and his phone has been off since then. Those close to him say it's not like him to not call or come home.

UPDATE: Officers are actively searching for Derek Carlington and are working with experts in the effort to locate him. Anyone with information should reach out to Officer Schniper. His contact information is in the original post above.

I feel like there is nothing to go on, why isn’t there any info about where he may have been heading etc? I’m somewhat local and just not hearing much except he is still missing.

Missing Pelham man found dead at Oak Mountain

The body of a missing Pelham man who disappeared on July 13 has been found in Oak Mountain State Park, ending a search that lasted more than a week.

Derek Carlington was found deceased in his car on a secluded road inside the state park.

According to a Facebook post by the Pelham Police Department, no foul play is suspected.
