Well guess who finally got their new accessory attached and quietly walked out of jail today:

http://www.mobileso.com/whos-in-jail/

While I'd prefer Brittney to remain the focus of news reports... I would REALLY love to see a news report & interview from the family member(s) who bailed him out & are paying his attorney.

I'm with you football mom. I would really like to know who would bail out someone who they KNOW has so many child sex abuse charges. Being a family member and KNOWING the vicims is beyond vile in my opinion IF it was a family member, I don't think they will be coming out anytime soon.

I originally thought that JGM & WM could possibly be the bailers for DK. She is besties with MWK and WWK. They have 2 homes, part of the condo crowd (could be owners of the condo), from the photos before their fb pages were deleted, WM was into remodeling and was upgrading a home to be more environmentaly friendly...the hardware/appliances (for lack of a more knowledgable word). Not a cheap upgrade!

I don't think we know very much about them (maybe some one here does...if so chime in!) since they weren't in the lime light before WH mentioned them on a fb post. (owning the styx river house). The ms pages didn't reveal very much other than lots of photos of family stuff....vacations...bday parties...and lots of MWK+ and WWH+

I despise stuff like that. Why drag an innocent young man into this mess. IMO it borders on slander.

Maybe the famous nephew is a victim, too? And the idea of that family bankrolling DK would be wrong.

I don't know whether to agree because he is an innocent or agree because he is a victim or disagree because silence is considered violence in certain circumstances. My head spins on this case. Where is Brittney?

Slander? Really? Ok... You are certainly entitled to your opinion on the matter. Please allow me to provide mine:

I'm terribly sorry for the way it will be played out in the public venue but they (the Kent family) brought IT inside their house, literally...

One arrest, I can sympathize with wanting to provide support & believe innocence... 2nd arrest, not so much... 3rd arrest, NFW - stay locked up until you are proven innocent... that is JMHO...

But THAT third "get out of jail" pass is when I lost all respect for them and their ability maintain their "good name"... I no longer view them as innocent peripheral victims of DK's insidious crimes.

THEY volunteered to defend him when they could have and should have done what is morally correct... Not just for the sex crimes victims & Brittney but also for the two athletes who will now suffer from the backlash of their family defending their incestuous pedophile rapist uncle.

On the off chance I am mistaken about DK's benefactor and that instead he has a seven figure bank account stashed away and just prefers living in a very modest mobile home rental... Then I will gladly retract my opinion that his family is bailing him out and paying for his attorney.

The probability of DK or some mysterious wealthy unrelated benefactor funding his defense, bail & daily electronic monitoring fees is about as likely as Zanny the Nanny being responsible for Brittney's disappearance...

Of course all of that is JMO too but it certainly isn't based on illogical reasoning.

P.S. I will not apologize for being totally disgusted that DK is out on bail for the third time & that someone (logical conclusion his own family) is spending loads of money & efforts to defend him.

I want his sorry azz to be locked up in the worst possible jail conditions available so he can get several doses of his own medicine AND so there will be a good incentive for him to start telling everything about what happened to Brittney and where she can be found!

I really wish we knew for sure who continues to bail him out. I agree with your logical thinking, FBmom, however, this group was making money some other way than working for it.. kwim? In the beginning I thought this was some kind of child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 ring, but considering none of the charges involve 🤬🤬🤬🤬.. I've had to rethink that. I know from a previous case that proving child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 based on someones computer is very time consuming for LE and single accountability is hard to prove. So it may just be that they have not concluded that part of their investigation.
The easiest and least expensive way to post bond is with property. His bonds have been low enough that it wouldn't take that much property to get him out. I just dont understand why ANYONE would do this!

I wonder if DH had life insurance? Just because someone commits suicide, it doesn't mean the life insurance won't pay. It really depends on when the policy was purchased and whether or not there was a suicide clause in the policy.

I think the men (and I use that term loosely) have/had manual labor type day jobs & the wives do not work. MWK, WWH, DH nor DK own any residential property in Mobile or Baldwin counties and their primary residences are rentals (according to county property records).

I believe DH may have been on disability (bad back and/or heart issues) at the time of his death. I think he probably earned some extra cash from pharmaceutical sales (cough, cough).

I would not be surprised if they earned extra cash with photo & video sales but I also think if such things exist they may have just kept it in-house for personal use. (barf). I don't see them being technologically savvy enough to know how to use TOR or the underbelly of the Internet to facilitate such transfers and especially not involving financial transactions. Can't really walk up to your neighbor and ask, "hey bob, nice weather we are havin'. Wanna buy some underage 🤬🤬🤬🤬?"

So basically no... No way in H E double hockey sticks do I think DK or MWK have the personal financial means to pay his for his bail, defense attorney, daily electronic monitoring or court fees...

As a former Risk Manager... A life insurance policy that will pay out in the event of suicide is extremely rare & the premiums are very expensive... Additionally - DH was obese, had heart problems, drank & was a smoker so even IF he could get a basic life insurance policy the premium would be astronomical. (BTW - I don't see DH being a viable organ donor. When this was mentioned I thought to myself, "um yeah... the only willing recipients would be for research or academic purposes - not for any transplants.")

The chances of DH even having private medical insurance would also have been unlikely given his health but if he did those premiums would cost a fortune. I just don't see them paying expensive premiums for life insurance on top of thousands of dollars for health insurance even if they could afford it.

I don't think sound financial planning, investments and healthy lifestyles are/were at the top of the Holland's list of priorities.

I think RSW might be pretty tech savvy with all his online game playing. IMO if he helped the investigation it was to get heat off himself. He didn't have 3 sets of charges against him and he has alot of contact with kids through the game store and gaming online. Again I think he was deflecting heat off himself by being the concerned uncle and leading searches for Brittney.

My feeling is that DK is a little...well to be as polite as possible...slow. His FB thanked wife and family for putting up with him and if I remember correctly said something about getting into trouble when he was younger. I would bet DK has done some questionable things previously and his family has gotten him out of some situations and had them swept under the rug. IMO

I was just thinking the same thoughts Clarabelle, RSW is certainly savvy enough and had the technology at his fingertips.

Great points, as usual, Football Mom.. I would imagine DH was on Medicare.. or Medicaid.. (I get them confused). If this was the case, his "pharmaceutical sales" could have been extremely profitable, with very little cost on his part.. with some pills selling from $5 to $20 each. I know this from watching one of my family members lose everything to this addiction which is sadly rampant in this country's youth right now.

I also imagine you are right about who is funding DK's bond. Just wondering how people survive and take vacations and eat like kings on shrimp and crab without even one viable source of income.

Guess we are all still waiting for that iceberg to melt...

Baldwin Court appearances this week: WBB, DPH,Jr., & DW

Mobile county for future reference:

Thursday Aug 16 9AM Derek Thomas Wood
Judge Jody W. Bishop

Thursday Aug 16 9AM William Bonney Brownlee
Judge Jody W. Bishop

Thursday Aug 16 9AM Donald Paul Holland Jr
Judge Jody W. Bishop

They all have the same date, time and Judge. Is the Judge hearing all the cases at the same time? I guess it could be if it's all the same victim? Anyone know how this works? TIA

ETA I found this on Judge Bishop's calender:

(AUG) 16 BAY MINETTE
9:00 Preliminary Hearings

So I guess everyone shows up at 9AM and he proceeds through that day's cases. Not meaning he hears them all at once, but that court begins at 9AM.

The way it typically works is that everyone that has a case that day, is due in court at the same time. The Docket #'s are read off and they go in front of the judge to enter a plea. I only find it odd that they have the same judge, but I have no idea how large this court house is. Given they are all related, similar crimes and arrest dates - I assume they'll be called afar each other.

Its a typical "cattle call" criminal docket for preliminary hearings/matters. They will most likely just work out the details (time/date/etc) for the next hearing and handle any motions that have been filed by either side regarding discovery, etc. I wouldn't expect anything too interesting or informative to be revealed that day. I was able to quickly glance over some of the charging documents today for a couple of the guys and I did find the wording and information contained in the specific complaints to be interesting. At least one names the victim of that specific crime, but the others I've looked at so far just have a victim description and a time frame (from X Date to X Date) that the alleged crimes occurred.

Anyone know why DH was on disability? Could it have been a Worker's Compensation claim? If he was injured at work he could keep his benefits, including life insurance policies. Which would eliminate paying for private high dollar policy premiums. Suicides can pay out depending on the policy terms and if so they usually are paid a reduced amount. WWH is probably receiving more money now than when DH was alive. Social Security benefits for all 3 minors. If I am correct, a check for herself while she still has a child under 16. She has a steady income now of 4 checks.
