Dental records ID body found along northeast AL creek

A body that apparently washed up from a Jackson County creek has been identified as James Michael Eakin, a man reported missing months ago, authorities said.

Chief Deputy Rocky Harnen said the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences used dental records to determine the body was that of Eakin, a 53-year-old who was reported missing from the Pikeville community in August.
