Search underway for missing woman last seen in Hoover (cbs42.com)

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 34-year-old woman that has been missing since Feb. 7.

• Jolene Rea Jenkins was last seen leaving Panera Bread on Doug Baker Blvd in Hoover.
• She was believed to be travelling to the Tuscaloosa/Brookwood area, but never arrived.
• Jolene has blue eyes, brown hair, is 5'2 tall and 198 pounds.
• LE says she has ties to the Ensley area of Birmingham.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jenkins is asked to contact HPD at 205-822-5300.

There's no family or background information released so far by LE of MSM, but it would be helpful to know Jolene relationship status before she disappeared. Did she have any children? She apparently worked at Panera Bread in Hoover, AL.

I can't see her FB profile but maybe there's useful information there which might fill in some of the gaps.

Jenkins reportedly worked at the Panera Bread on Doug Baker Boulevard in Hoover and was last seen there last Monday.

Q. Did she go home (or intend to) before heading to Tuscaloosa or did she begin her trip directly from work?

Yes it appears Jolene worked at Panera Bread in Hoover and was last seen leaving there. Was there any security video of her actually leaving the parking lot? If so, was she alone at the time? Did her co-workers notice anything odd or concerning about Jolene before she left work?

As swanniee mentioned, I've seen nothing so far about her vehicle. I would expect LE would know what type of vehicle she was driving when she left work. From a quick look at the map I believe it's roughly 20 miles or so between Brookwood and Hoover.

Sadly we don't know who she was going to see. How she was getting there, car/bus etc. Details should be put out there to help find her. IMO

Agreed. With so few details released by family or LE there's not much to go on here. A quick internet search returned only a couple of MSM stories, and both of them were nearly identical:

"Police say 34-year-old Jolene Rea Jenkins was last seen leaving Panera Bread on Doug Baker Boulevard. Authorities say Jenkins was heading to the Tuscaloosa/Brookwood area, but never arrived. Police say Jenkins has ties to the Ensley area."
