Does Kahleb appear to be all bruised up to anyone else? Looks like a goose egg on his noggin, a possible black right eye and what looks like a scab on his cheek? The expression on his face reminds me of Aliayah Lunsford

Wow. Ryleigh has been through something too, she doesn’t have the spark that was obvious in her new walker picture & video. The look on his face is more concerning than the bruises would be if he wasn’t missing. His eyes are haunted.

Seems so----it appears that the driver planned a brutal murder/suicide.

I'm guessing its a heated argument as they leave the house that escalates into an enraged driver hitting warp speed. The passenger is panicking and perhaps fighting for control of the truck.

Same scenario played out locally and the fatal crash scene was about 1/2 mile from the stoplight where the argument ensued/escalated in front of the witnesses there.

Truck might have hit 90mph in about 15 seconds and crashed 10 seconds later. Probably not much thinking or planning went into this catastrophe.

I'm going to guess yes. It may have been ejected, but there was no sign of a car seat for a 2 year old or a 1 year old in that vehicle. Maybe there was in the mother's car? Or maybe they just never cared enough to install 2.

On Friday, we learned his attorneys are seeking access to confidential state records surround the family and potential child abuse claims. A judge ordered those records will be sealed.
DHR would not comment on any possible involvement they may have had with the family, citing confidentiality laws.

At this point, it's unknown if Bailey is helping law enforcement in efforts to locate his grandson.

Several of Kahleb’s family members, including his grandmother, live out of state. One family member described to WBRC the moment they realized the child was missing.

“When she found out that he was not in the truck, she asked the cops ‘where is my grandson then? They didn’t even know,” said Katherine Chaplin, Kahleb’s great aunt. “She did not know he was missing until later on when the grandfather said that he was staying with a family friend, and had been for two months.”

This article isn’t new but I haven’t seen these pictures of Kahleb before. He appears to be around 6 mos old, he is sitting up in a chair. He doesn’t appear to have any issues with his back or other obvious issues. At the time these pictures were taken he looked like a healthy baby.

I can’t decide if they stopped posting when Kaleb was born or if they deleted everything regarding Kaleb except for the 1 post Steve made on his “Brad” account. I think it’s odd both of their pages stop on the same post of KaLeigh taking her first steps, just a couple weeks prior to Kaleb’s due date, then nothing.

They don’t look like carefree small people, do they, @Knox ? I’m not a health care professional, but injury, sleeplessness, and vitamin/mineral deficiency (iron or D) come to mind. Moo.

No they don’t, the haunting photos we see really stay with us don’t they? I’ll never forget a picture of Aliayah Lunsford, that was 13 years ago, I still see her sad eyes. @tlcya our little brown-eyed girl, who Lena couldn’t love like the others.

Thank you for listing some different ideas, none of them good. Why have children if you don’t want to care for them? I’ll never understand this.

Hoping the Grandpa comes forward with the TRUTH quickly. He knows what happened in that house.
