AL - Kahleb Rowan Collins, 1, his dad & sis were killed in a car crash, he wasn't with them, Fayette County, 8 Dec 2024

Did I miss that LE had also done a search/seize in their house before yesterday's second property search?
I'm also curious of LE kept tabs on the grandfather JEB after the Dec.8th accident and his arrest on Dec.11th ?

i dunno.... i just keep feeling that LE is being so harsh with these two... Certainly not blame free, but I sense this young woman was in such an abusive distressing living situation... And has now lost both her children
oh well... I do hope she does get well enough to handle what comes next for her.

While I appreciate that you are sympathetic and kind, she was shown a picture of her child hanging, bruised, and bloody. She didn't tell anyone about that. She knows then that her child was left to rot and then taken away. I am sorry, but she has had plenty of time to tell someone and have him arrested which would have ensured her safety. The father also cannot be blameless. He is a man and he knew that this baby was gone. He had no excuse to not turn in the abuse. IMO

yesterday's search was the third search. the house and grounds were previously searched for two days on December 18 and 19th.

Thank you, I'm behind on the beginning happenings.
Do you know if there's media footage of the house search like we saw yesterday of the property search?
I don't believe there was video but will link several articles about the mid December searches some contained photos.

I'm surprised he hasn't been located, yet. I'm wonder if she's not cooperating or she just doesn't know.

Sorry, but I can't agree with you.

The casual way she reacted to the photos of her abused child suggest to me that this was not the first incident like this. The reckless behaviour of not restraining her child in a vehicle also suggests a disregard for her safety. The grandfather in this home could have taken action if he felt his child and/or grandchildren were in danger. He definitely should have done something when the youngest grandchild just disappeared.
The ONLY reason that the "mother" of these children could argue her lack of responsibility MIGHT be because of a very, very low IQ, or something like a brain injury that meant she did not have the capacity to adequately care for them, but this would raise a lot more questions than answers.

I initially thought Pam might be a victim and was ready to consider her as such. But after the news of the text message exchange and the horrific content. She should be punished the same as if she herself committed the torture. It’s beyond my comprehension, there is simply no way to mitigate her lack of protection. Low IQ, brain injury - nope! If she can operate a cell phone, post to Facebook, her brain can’t be that scrambled.

I have a feeling that this family had multigenerational histories of abuse. RIP, sweet little children. You didn't deserve any of this.

Sadistic child abusers are nothing new or novel.

They are amongst the worst iterations of humanity, but they are nothing recent. We just hear about it more now, as opposed to in the past where it wasn't considered any outsider's business what happened in a family.

MOO
No, it's not. At least nowadays, when things like this happen, the victims are more likely to be believed.

It's been reported that WB was employeed at the local townfill and then was transferred to some position in the town govt.
IMO:
Unless she was given the jobs through some kind of disability program I'd say she was a regular employee with the expectation of fulfilling her job(s) requirements.
Though I have thought that if from the accident she suffered from some type of head/brain injury that may be used or tried to be used going forward by her defense trying to prove that she suffers from memory loss and/or understanding the charges against her etc.

Thank You, @iamshadow21 for the link about Mary Ellen Wilson. I didn't know about her story. I always appreciate your posts as I know I will learn something.

Sorry for quoting myself, but I wanted to add a link to the story below - the contrasting irony in maternal instincts is epic.

Perhaps I am giving her too much leeway. The prosecution will push hard on some of these issues you are stating.,
