Ok, blowing up the YouTube video- I have to tell you, if this isn't a woman, then it is a male with long black hair. I distinctly see long black hair. They are walking alone and come into the screen from the right. I have had to go back and forth with this video- what really doesn't help is that time stamp is in the way.

Guess I need to watch it on the TV because I didn’t see that on iPad. One thing to remember though. Do-rags, weaves, wigs, braids, etc are very common even with men. I think KM’s dad was wearing a do-rag at min and maybe a weave in his car video. Not sure the fascination with synthetic hair appliances but they are seen all the time.

I did the same. I focused on the two adults only, after seeing the kids chase the second guy. I watched that video about 25 times, pausing several times to look at the surroundings and the adults. It really is upsetting to think we may have seen that darling child happily playing for the last time in her life before something awful happened to her.

This is what is puzzling me.

They seem to 'know' that this was unplanned very far in advance. However they know that.
But they don't know what the motive is.

It seems to me that if they know when it was planned, then they must have some evidence as to why it was quickly planned ... on a sort of impromptu basis. imo
Maybe that evidence and/or the reason is something they don't want to release at the moment? Some hold back info due to the nature of the crime or the nature of the suspected perp(s)?


Asked Friday how much planning he believes went into the abduction,
Smith replied, “I think maybe 20 minutes. I don’t believe a lot of planning went into it. I think it was something maybe done impromptu.”
Smith said they have not established a motive in the abduction.

Yes, there is always much that LE knows but they don't want to reveal. They don't want to jeopardize the investigation in any way. Sometimes they don't want the suspect to know what they know. Sometimes they don't want the public to know what only the suspect knows.

Maybe they really don't know if it was planned in advance yet, but the evidence they have so far seems to point to it not being planned. They won't be able to determine a motive until they have the suspect and they find the child, along with all the evidence.

There are so many pieces of the puzzle to put together. Maybe they are basing their opinion on what they see in the video and from information they have discovered in interviews.

It's always amazing in the end how much work was going on behind the scenes that we didn't realize.
Everything will make sense to us eventually, and most of all we hope there is a happy ending. It's always so disappointing when it ends badly.

I don't know who is involved. Was it sheer luck to arrest PS and QF and find pictures (PS) and prior arrests (QF) ?

A. Completely random. I think the perp(s) watch the children playing for a while and then could no longer contain themself(ves) and grabbed the most convenient girl child.
