I had not read or heard of them using dogs. Do you know where and what type of dogs? Cadaver dogs or search dogs? I've been wondering about that. Dogs were noticeably not in the very first videos with the officers out searching.

It is my opinion they will have dogs. Based on previous cases, searches usually have dogs on site.
I know of a few cases the dogs have found the child or adult.

Its not usually to use drones. Just this week a child was located in a corn field with a drone.

All available resources that are appropriate will be used.

To the locals here, perhaps you can provide some input: I found some “areas of interest” which potentially stand out to me (needle in haystack and perhaps unrelated but worth a note I thought). I wanted to map the distance and route, fwiw. Again, there is no indication that this has anything whatsoever to do with CC.

Looking for notes, will post when I find them.

I hope your right and I hope they have a mountain of evidence they haven't shared with the public.

I can’t find any articles stating dogs were/are being used.
Why not? Aren’t tracking dogs brought in quickly to maintain scent while hot? Wait a dang minute. Why not period? Since when are dogs not one of the most reliable LE Canine tools use when tracking victims or suspects not utilized? Why wouldn’t they?
Try your search using "K-9." MOO

Search for abducted 3-year-old Alabama girl enters 'critical hours,' police say
Chief Smith said they plan to do a few searches using K-9s in areas where a few of the persons of interest frequent. They want to do that Saturday before asking volunteers to join them on Sunday to do a grid search of some of those areas.

Birmingham PD release new video of Kamille ‘Cupcake’ McKinney
Chief Smith also stated that police are including K-9 units in the search for Cupcake.

Indeed. Drone searches have become practically SP in many searches, imo. And as we know dogs are SP as well.

No doubt. They do. imo

Kamille McKinney has been missing since her abduction Oct. 12. The community won’t stop until the 3-year-old is home, a pastor says.

If you have info on her disappearance, call @BhamPolice at 205-297-8413 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777 https://trib.al/OXkSnhc

Perhaps Cupcake and the other little one wandered away for some reason to play. Away from the other kids who were present.

That's exactly what I think happened. MOO

All my opinion only MOO
....

We may hear an overview, if/when more arrest are made or KM is found.

Most evidence is held until preliminary hearing or discovery. Sometimes search warrant information is found.

I don't expect we will know the fine details and how the story unfolded for months.

All of the above MOO

LE said they know who the other little girl is and they spoke with her, right? Was she able to tell them anything?
We don't know, but she may have been one of the children who said there was a man giving the children candy.

Yes, I'm sure all the kids who lived there probably played in places all around the complex.
They appeared to be playing near the playground, in back of the Daycare, right near that big tree. You can see the large tree when the men walk by them on the surveillance video.
They probably wandered away from the others while they were running around and playing.
It looked like they were collecting things off the ground or something.

Imo

That is a really good point too.

One of the first things she would say when getting back to others is telling what happened. Im sure 'picking up candy' would be one of the things she would mention as she tried to explain what happened to Cupcake.

A terrible thought is she may have had to fight her way out to get away. Maybe the perp(s) did try to get both of them. :(

So glad she is safe. Now wish we can find the other.

You can see the playground very clearly in this shot. Did CC's brother say he was playing on the playground at time of abduction in one of the news videos? Or am I just remembering incorrectly?
I thought so, too. I could have sworn her brother said they were playing at the playground. Someone offered the kids candy and from there, she was abducted.

I think sometimes the media messes details up in the beginning of many missing persons' cases, and this would be no exception.

Community won’t stop until Kamille ‘Cupcake’ McKinney is home, pastor says

Within about 16 hours of Kamille’s disappearance, the FBI was brought in and later mobilized its Child Abduction Rapid Deployment teams to Birmingham

Authorities say the video’s time stamp is incorrect and was actually taken about the time of the kidnapping.
Police say Kamille was abducted between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. seven days ago while attending a birthday party in the Tom Brown Village public housing community.

Has the male body that was found near the airport I believe the other day been I.d?
Not that I have seen anywhere. I am pretty sure it is not PS since his lawyer spoke with him after the body was found in the middle of the road. MOO

That, and we’d know almost immediately if it was him. Reporters would be all over that.
