I just had a sickening realization that most of you have probably already had. IF cc knows the person who took her, she is as unsafe as she would be if it were a stranger. They cannot release her without her telling who had her. My gut tells me this blew up quicker and bigger than they planned. I think the planner of this intended for this to be a short thing, and stay on the street. Remember, LE was not called by either parent, right?

My theory on a few things, but ALL SPECULATION NOT FACT!

Possible sequence of events leading to arrest of PS:

CC is taken > 11yo male witness tries to describe car that CC was taken in and mentions *dark color* *pb brown trim* *toyota* (based off of info in first Amber alerts) > BPD searches CCTV from area and surrounding and locates a car fitting general description that was in area at the correct time > BPD uses CCTV to follow car & find shell station video > BPD posts photos of car and man asking for help identifying/locating > neighbor tips & other intel lead BPD to PS > PS is taken into custody > PS has child pornography in his possession and is eventually arrested on that charge.

This (combined with search locations) IMO makes it HIGHLY improbable that PS is NOT involved.

I don’t know how CCs parents drama is connected to this if it even is. (But there does seem to be a lot of drama)

My thoughts on what the BPD chief was trying to say at the presser with the video:

-They have identified the two children in the video.
-They have identified the man that engages the two children (most likely as PS although the chief would not say if that was the case)
-They want to identify the other person in the video who does not engage the kids.
-I don’t think that the chief was expressing one way or another if the other person in the video is connected to the crime, just that they would like to speak with them because they were so close to the crime.
-IMO it could have been someone on their phone not even paying attention to their surroundings, but maybe there was something they didn’t realize they saw that might be helpful.


Just some of my thoughts I wanted to put into writing because it is crazy how we all have such different thoughts with the scattered MSM reporting and other confusing aspects of this case.

It's hard to say. LE has said there is no connection between the two suspects that were arrested and the family and they think others are involved. If the two are really the ones who abducted her, she probably does not know them. Imo

To be clear for reference the video that I’m seeing is from October 14th. It’s an interview with the Great Grandmother and Great Grandfather. Thanks for posting. That’s a great example of an “MSM SM” live update!

I thought it was live though and was yelling at the reporter bc he said PS was still detained lol.

Thanks margarita. FWIW, that video is definitely from today. Tua (also referenced in the video and link) JUST had surgery today. Nothing gets reported here without a reference to football. ;-)

Birmingham Police: Grid search for Kamille McKinney produced no evidence

Birmingham Police says the search was done in an area just north of Springville Road near Huffman Road, and extended about tw0 miles.

Based on the photo posted by local TV, looks like they staged in Huffman High Schools parking lot. If it’s not the school it’s very close by. Maybe some other locals will immediately recognize this view but that’s where it appears to me.

For those not local, I wanted to mention that the local channels are still scrolling the amber alert and information on the ticker today. We’re watching Sunday night football, and the ticker notes that police have released surveillance video and are looking for a person who may have information and have offered safe passage to drop her off. They also mention the $25k reward and give contact info to call and crime stoppers info. Everyone here is talking about this case, and praying for Cupcake’s safe return.

I'd say the park was definitely searched. One square mile is = to 640 acres and Eldorado Park is just 6.23 acres. MOO

I am new to this thread and someone may have already posted the attached arial picture of the area shown in LE's video recently. I have however, made notations on the picture to help me with the location aspect of this case. This also answers questions that many of us have had.

Watching the LE Video, I originally thought that KM and her friend were playing on the sidewalk next to a busy street and was very concerned that 2 toddlers were allowed to do so, especially by themselves. As the attached arial picture shows, they were indeed Behind two residence buildings in the complex.

The arial picture also shows the Daycare fence, that I have noted in yellow, that prevents the toddlers from playing on the Playset, located within the Daycare fencing.

Also noted are the three available parking lots, where the Abductor(s) could have parked. IMO, the one on the immediate left of the Daycare would be the one of choice.

Why was the other child not also taken? Did the other child's parent check out the back door and called for the child when not immediately seen, and the child came running back? This parent may have just thought that KM went back inside or her parent picked her up. Did KM's family member babysit KM on a regular basis? Did KM play with the other toddler on a regular basis?

IMO, this was a crime of opportunity.

Lots of questions, and awaiting for KM's return.

I’ve uploaded a picture of that surrounding area. The blue line indicates the angle the picture was taken of Huffman high school. Unless they searched Five Mile Creek or the apartment homes, they definitely searched south not north of springville rd.

I think it is on the corner of the daycare. Channel 5 means there are at least 4 more cameras (or were) my daughter works in a daycare and said their main monitor has 10 channels with 10 thumbnails of the 10 camera views. You can click on one and make it big. They record on DVR, and watch all angles of the inside and outside, especially where they play. JMO tho. Which also makes me wonder if someone working at/for the daycare could be involved or maybe saw something before that in hindsight made them call LE? Just a guess. ORRR someone could have been staking out the daycare. I think Man 1 was the spotter for man 2...

Fire Fox 2, I am reminded of something our Late Great @Foxfire used to talk about, which was exactly this, that predators do specifically often stake out locations where their prospective victims may congregate,
etc. The Day Care would have been closed during this time presumably, but it instigates an interesting train of thought. This might not have been his first time in that area for that very reason of previously staking out the daycare.
